A day or two before a December weekend, I realized my now fiancée and I could escape for some time together. I already had the ring and wanted to propose somewhere we both enjoyed. We never stayed at a bed and breakfast and I gave Tim and Angie zero time to prepare for our arrival. However, Tim and Angie went...

We stay two nights and all we can say is WOW. The house is amazing, the room was roomy and extremely romantic, and the breakfast was SOOOOO GOOOOD. Both mornings we opted to have our breakfast delievered. Each time we would hear a knockd by the time we opened the door, no one was there. I almost wanted to wait...

This was a perfect refuge from the cold and stress of a MN winter. The house is a beautiful old mansion in a lovely neighborhood that has been well maintained and furnished. It has an interesting history that is kept alive by the owners. There are loads of wonderful amenities, such as a great tea selection, carafes of wine, cookies...

We had a great time, we were warmly greeted upon arrival, explained all of the ammenities that were offered, and made to feel right at home. We stayed in the Mayor's Chamber with the fireplace and whirlpool. We could not have had a better stay, the breakfasts were amazing and bountiful and the folks who own the place were terrific....

My husband and I got married in the main room of the A.G. Thomson House in September 2010. From the moment the innkeepers, Angie and Tim, took us on a tour of their bed and breakfast, my then-fiance and I knew that we had made an excellent decision. We booked the entire B&B for the weekend and had immediate family...

This was our first stay at a B & B and our experience at the A.G. Thomson House far exceeded our expectations. Tim and Angie warmly welcomed us on our arrival. We were offered a beautiful, comfortable room with a view of Lake Superior. The whirlpool, fireplace and additional little "treats" only added to the charm of the room. We...
