My girlfriend and I stayed in the Hewitt Suite for two nights in late February. Being first time B & B'ers, we didn't really know what to expect. From the moment we walked in, Tim and Angie made us feel feel very welcome and did a great job showing us all their home had to offer - everything from the...

I was blown away by three aspects of our stay. First was the quality of food; I did not expect homemade breakfast each morning. Not only was is delivered to our door, but it was simply fantastic. Second, the cleanliness of our room couldn't have been better. Nothing is worse than paying for a room that hasn't been cleaned well....

Tim and Angie are amazing B&B hosts. They are so thoughtful every step of your stay. Their attention to detail is perfect, from the freshly made chocolate chip cookies sitting invitingly on the table as they first give you a tour of their house, to the robes hanging up in the bedroom, to the delicious 3 course breakfasts. This was...

We had the most fantastic time at the AG Thompson House for our 25th wedding anniversary! Tim & Angie made us feel like family -- they treated us like royalty! The trip and stay in Duluth, Minnesota -- even though we came from the Twin Cities -- could not have been better! From the extremely comfortable and luxurious room, the...

A day or two before a December weekend, I realized my now fiancée and I could escape for some time together. I already had the ring and wanted to propose somewhere we both enjoyed. We never stayed at a bed and breakfast and I gave Tim and Angie zero time to prepare for our arrival. However, Tim and Angie went...

We stay two nights and all we can say is WOW. The house is amazing, the room was roomy and extremely romantic, and the breakfast was SOOOOO GOOOOD. Both mornings we opted to have our breakfast delievered. Each time we would hear a knockd by the time we opened the door, no one was there. I almost wanted to wait...

This was a perfect refuge from the cold and stress of a MN winter. The house is a beautiful old mansion in a lovely neighborhood that has been well maintained and furnished. It has an interesting history that is kept alive by the owners. There are loads of wonderful amenities, such as a great tea selection, carafes of wine, cookies...

We had a great time, we were warmly greeted upon arrival, explained all of the ammenities that were offered, and made to feel right at home. We stayed in the Mayor's Chamber with the fireplace and whirlpool. We could not have had a better stay, the breakfasts were amazing and bountiful and the folks who own the place were terrific....

My husband and I got married in the main room of the A.G. Thomson House in September 2010. From the moment the innkeepers, Angie and Tim, took us on a tour of their bed and breakfast, my then-fiance and I knew that we had made an excellent decision. We booked the entire B&B for the weekend and had immediate family...
