We just wanted to get away for a few days and we're glad we picked Pier B. Excellent place to stay with everything you need. Lots of things to do and is within a nice walk to Canal Park and the Lift Bridge. We had great time.
We stayed here Sun-Tues (12/29-31). It was a great stay. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The view couldn't be beat. We looked out on the Lift Bridge and Port. They have multiple gas "fire" pits and one wood fire pit. The guys really enjoyed their time spent at the wood fire pit. Rooms are well proportioned. View is awesome. The rooms are very quiet -- can't hear your neighbor. Less than 1/2 mile from Canal Park. Spent lots of time at Bent Paddle Brew Pub. Highly recommend staying at this hotel/resort. We'll be back. I have no choice -- my husband said he's never staying anywhere else.
Where to start? During our visit to the North shore we decided to stay our final night at we would consider a fancy hotel. We typically spend $100-$150 per night on a hotel. This hotel was $300 per night. The night started by having dinner in the restaurant. We waited almost an hr to get a table which was understandable with Covid going on. However after getting seated and finally ordering, the wait to get the food took almost an hour with out the waitress retuning to fill our drinks. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. I ordered the walleye on rice that was supposed to have a sauce on it. The wallet was cold and had no sauce. Basically just broiled walleye on dry rice. Plus this was one of the most expensive dishes on the menu. Next, they offer s’mores kits where you can cook them over the provided campfires outside. Unfortunately there were so many people that no fires were available the entire night. This was disappointing but we thought maybe we would just microwave them and eat in the room. Well guess what, no microwaves in the room. This was something special for the kids that they couldn’t enjoy. Next, the kids were excited for the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately like the fires, they were packed all night and due to capacity issues we we not able to use them. Next, was the fact that the fridge did not work. We went to the local grocery store to get food for lunch the next day and packed the fridge full only to discover Two hrs later that it was not working. I was told by the gentleman at the front desk that he could get us a replacement in the morning. Well that didn’t do us any good. I also vented to the gentlemen about paying $300 and not being able to use any of the amenities listed. He ensured me that he would get with the manager and get us at least some compensation. Well guess what, a 2 weeks went by and I never heard anything. I then decided I would answer their survey that they email out and now it’s men 2 month later and still no response. Very unprofessional. I should’ve stayed at the nearby Hampton inn and saved $200.…
We had a wonderful weekend at Pier B. Beautiful views, quick walk to canal park along the water. Super comfortable beds and pillows, very clean. Friendly guests, really a great vibe! I wish we could have gotten a seat by the fire pits at least one of our nights but people seemed to stay put all evening long - this was our only complaint.
We stayed for three nights, two of them were with Dine and Dream package (which was a great value). We dined at the hotel restaurant, made smoor's at the waterfront, enjoyed great location and views, and proximity to various point of interests; free parking. The room and bathroom were clean, the mattresses and sleep were comfortable; the public areas felt clean and taken care of, the staff was welcoming and helpful, food was great. The Dine and Dream package was a great deal Consider staying at Pier B, and check their promos!
