Surprisingly affordable in a town of overpriced hotel options. Fantastic location within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are basic but clean and well appointed with everything you need. Bed very comfortable and hotel was quiet. Two rooftop patios overlooking the lake were a lovely surprise. Will definitely stay here again.

This is an older hotel/motel. Rooms could really use updating BUT, I was very happy there and would definitely stay again! The staff are top notch from office help to "maid" service all are very helpful and friendly. Location is awesome & rooftop views are excellent. Price are reasonable. Very clean

Great location and walking distance to things in Duluth. The rooms smelled very strongly of cigarettes and dampness which made for an uncomfortable 2 nights. There was no hair dryer, and when we inquired the staff just sort of looked around at us, so we had to go buy our own. Sort of took the convenience factor out of the...

A really basic room, at least it was clean with a comfortable bed, but pretty old linens, and only one pillow on the bed. There was only one small bar of soap for both the sink and the shower, and only two towels. There was promise of a continental breakfast, but none in sight. Parking was free, but two flights...

My husband and I came to Duluth for Tall Ships and we were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Voyageur Lakewalk. The hotel is dated and needs a good face lift, but our room was very clean and our bed was really comfortable! The view from the top balcony could not be beat by anywhere else in Duluth. The...

Reasonable prices. Limited parking. No Danish "anymore" as advertised No lid on toilet to put clothing on while showering. No towel bar/hook near sink which is probably why there were soiled towel and washcloth on bar behind bathroom door. Some dark places on grout in shower ?mold?)

Like so many of the reviews, we were looking for a place to stay the night. I agree- that the hotel is average. The gal who checked us in was professional, helpful and courteous. A good exterior cleaning and fresh paint would go a long way. Our room was basic; outdated; but it was clean. Beds are very comfortable and...

Stayed here one night while heading to the North Shore. An older hotel that was comfortable but not too clean. The toilet looked like it had not been cleaned in a week (dried urine on the rim) and the tub had loose hair in it. The carpet was vacuumed but did not feel clean. The beds were comfortable. I can...

The facility as a whole is average. However the location is excellent and the price, when compared it to other hotels in Duluth, is reasonable, except for the room I had. I was traveling with two others. We all had separate rooms. One was on the second floor and another on the 3rd and I was on the first floor....

We just needed a place to crash for a night, and his motel served its purpose. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and explained the parking situation so we had no issues there. There is no continental breakfast though, as stated on some websites. As noted in several other reviews, this is an older motel, and the interior is...
