I will never stay at this hotel again. My daughter got married in the area and this was our preferred hotel. They gave my room away as a no show when they gave my guest a key & had items in room. I had been working with hotel for months on our wedding block. My guests had over 40 nights booked in this hotel and they gave my room away. I had specifically called and said I would be very late checking in as I was the Mother of the Bride and was assured that my room was safe. I arrived after the wedding to find out they had removed our items from the room and gave our room away. While the hotel has compensated me for this situation, it doesn’t change the fact that it happened. Owners of wedding blocks beware.

We make regular visits to relatives in the Carver county area. For many years we stayed at another hotel in Chanhassen across Hwy 5. When the hotel experienced a change in management and service and quality control declined dramatically we switched hotels and started to patronized the Country Inn. We were not disappointed! The Country Inn is wonderful. Quality decor and great staff behind the desk. They were helpful, empathetic and courteous. A big plus...I could understand their English. The breakfast was wonderful. Clean, attendant was present. Food quality as good as I could make at home. Pancakes, individual cereal servings, hash browns, eggs, bacon. And coffee was gourmet quality. We found our new home away from home

This is a well maintained hotel just steps away from the Chanhassen Dinner Theater and Brindisi's Pub/Grill. Easy to get find right the main road. Friendly, helpful staff. I would definitely stay again.

Let me start out by saying I don’t travel a bunch, but in all of my 50 years of life I can only remember one stay that was worse. When we arrived the lady at the front was super friendly, and said she would be there all night if we need anything. This is where it started to get weird. Once we arrived at our room we found out that the key cards did not work. So my wife went back down to get new cards while I waited in the hall with the luggage. Unfortunately the nice lady at the front had disappeared, and she didn’t show back up for 15 minutes while we stood around. Not a huge deal, but a little inconvenient. The next set of key cards worked. Upon entering the room we discovered that it looked like we would be staying in a frat house. There were many holes in the carpet and stains on the furniture. Normally this is where I just leave, but we were in town for a wedding and this is where the block of reserved rooms were at. The following morning, some of the other wedding party guests started to arrive, and weirdly almost all of them had the same troubles with the room keys. One even had to be pried open with a screw driver by the staff because the key only worked long enough to get the first batch of bags into the room, and no subsequent set of keys would open the room. During our stay We noticed a little damage on the bathroom door like it had been wet recently, but given the condition of the room overall, thought no big deal we can get through this. Unfortunately we found that no matter how the shower curtain was arranged the tub enclosure leaked enough water onto the floor when taking a shower that I’m certain water was going into the unit below us. There was a pretty noticeable stink in the room, now knowing that the shower leaked all the time I’m pretty certain it was mold. In an effort to just put a smile on and get through the wedding we decided to round up our party and head to the hot tub to decompress from the long drive, unfortunately after 15 minutes in the water my wife started having some skin irritation, so we all decided it would be better not to stay in the water. While that’s the majority of the story, we should also mention that some of the wedding party actually did not stay at this hotel after the first night even knowing they had already paid and would not be refunded as they reported dirty rooms and waking up with a head ache, no doubt caused by the water leakage and subsequent poor air quality. In addition there was only one occasion where our room key worked 2 times in a row. Every other time we returned to the room we had to walk back to the front and get new keys. In addition, the common areas had damaged carpet and paint everywhere, and the staff never asked how our stay was when we were checking out and it wasn't until we were checking in that we learned that this hotel doesn't do daily cleaning or towel replacements. I should also mention there is a freight train that passes within 200 yards of the hotel in the middle of the night, and it was loud enough to wake us both up.…

Couch was stained and room did not look clean. Missing light bulbs. Called to ask for sheets to cover couch and phone was not plugged into cord. Maintance guy brought four stained sheets with holes. Noisy air conditioner.

Nice, but could have been better. The hotel was fine , staff was great. Little maintenance thing could have been fixed and the hotel would be great. The room was clean but could have been cleaner. The hotel over all was okay but with a little attention to details it would have been GREAT!

Just stayed here for a week to go to the Prince Celebration. Just so easy! Lovely room/quiet and overlooking the fab Prince mural! Pool was lovely and staff were the same. Breakfast reasonable and lovely comfy bed - just wish pillows weren't so soft! Otherwise, I had everything I needed including a fridge! Thanks so much. I would definitely recommend.

Over My Six Plus Weeks of staying at this hotel I found it Very Wellkept & Clean. But the Staff impressed me way beyond what I could imagine. Best customer service I have ever experienced, always asking me if they could help me in anyway, providing anything. All the staff, manager Kindall, housekeeping, front desk staff, lady serving breakfast so So gracious made my unexpected stay so wonderful. I can’t thank you all enough. The STAINS that are all over the room was unbelievable. As in, I had to take pictures of them because no one would believe that a Carlson Company hotel room was this bad if I couldn't prove it. The cleaning staff is either badly trained or just do not care. I suspect is it the latter. The ONLY employee who was nice and professional was Venisha at the front desk. I was so shocked, and sickened by the room, I called Radisson immediately and reported it as well as booked a room at another one of their hotels. I knew from many years of staying at this family of hotels that this was NOT normal. The Radisson Blu at the Mall of America was SUPERIOR. I just don't believe that I magically got the one room that was disgusting. Do yourself a favor, actually read reviews. Hotels are expensive. Cleanliness and decent service should be a priority. If not, save the money at stay at a Super 8. …

We booked two rooms here under the same reservation for a dance weekend in May. I emailed the hotel the Thursday before making sure that our rooms would be right next to each other, and was told via email that the request was taken care of.. Checked into the first room, and then later in the day checked into the second room to find out it was on a different floor and not near our first room. I said.. ah wait a minute, i had asked for rooms near each other.. the lady said, oh.. let me check, and then proceeded to tell us that there was no other rooms available.. i said.. well i have an email saying it was taken care of.. She said.. sorry, must have been a mis understanding?? Misunderstanding??? I asked if there was anything that can be done.. she said no, and walked away... Bad customer service period... In addition, rooms are very old .. Need an uplift.... Just be aware of the customer service... …
