From the moment we arrived, the accommodates was excellent; we felt so welcomed. The staff was friendly and helpful; the campgrounds was maintained and manicured. The kids had fun in the pool, the arcade and the open space to run. Our dogs were happy too. Awesome job on your hospitality Cannon Falls Campgrounds! We wish you great prosperity.
we loved the hosts and location . just not ideal for primitive tent camping we particularly enjoy. too many rv's , too many activities and we normally try to run away from that . the store was great and not overprices as those usually are . the shower was only a quarter so that was great
We have camped at Cannon Falls Campground for years, the ownership changed along with the service. We are booked for 4th of July weekend 2023 for the 3 night minimum, already paid in full, then they decided to require a 4 night minimum, we are not able to do that so I asked for them to just refund us since they won't let us stay for the 3 nights, but they are charging a cancellation fee even though they changed our reservation.
The campground is very clean and has a lot of activities for the adults and kids. The owner is so friendly and fun. Renting the “circle” with a group of friend was really fun. Can’t wait to go back. The pool is huge and very clean
Very spacious sites, I do wish they had more full hook ups, or another dump station. Staff is extremely friendly, very clean with a tone of amenities some of which we could not use as we camped before memorial day. Awesome location close to town.
When this was a KOA campground, we stayed here many times every summer from the first time on Memorial Day weekend 1968, through the final time on Labor Day weekend 1979. Some of my best memories, as a kid from age 4 to age 15, were from our camping weekends spent here for those 12 summers. We always camped here with another family we are still friends with today.
We have been camping here over Labor Day weekend with our group for close to 20 years. Always a fun time. The kids in the group love using the pool and the playground. A few of our friends enjoy participating in the annual bag toss tournament. There is bingo and music over the weekend too. The new owners are doing a great job with improvements! Also, a trip to Cannon Falls wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the winery or brewery in town, and a bike ride on the Cannon trail.
Clean campground, although no kids with us, there were activities for kids like games, hay wagon rides. Nice pool area. Although they were relatively busy, the camp was quiet. Staff and owners were very nice. Close to Northfield and great winery and brewery in Canon Falls.
My husband and I camp at Cannon Falls Campground for his family's annual family reunion. The owners and staff are very friendly and considerate when we've needed things. For example, they noticed our firewood was running out and replaced it without us even needing to ask. The grounds and bathrooms are well-kept, and the families that stay there long-term are friendly as well. As other reviews have said, there are lots of activities for kids. They also have a schedule of special activities and events (located at their main building). This year they had a movie night, a balloon artist, and a boutique-in-a-bus the weekend we stayed. One thing to note: The camping spots are RIGHT next to each other. This may not be the place for you if you are looking for complete solitude and seclusion. Most campers here seem to be families that like to stay busy. :) Just FYI, especially if you like tent camping!…
This campground is super kid friendly with lots of activities! Hay rides, foam party, light parade, giant connect 4, brickle ball, arcade a pool etc. Would recommend to anyone and will be back next year with more people to enjoy this little piece of paradise!
