The sunsets are beautiful here. There are no ATMs and yet there are vendors who only take cash and are way overpriced. Ask what they're charging before ordering or you'll get fleeced. The shop is sparse, the restaurant doesn't have a view, and the hotel front staff are not pleasant.

We arrived at OBB by private yacht. Clearing Customs was Very Helpful and got us through Very Quickly A+ ! Staying onboard in OBB Marina was good, a rope fell over and sank, a local jumped in and retrieved it. The Marina dockage, power, and water (mandatory $20 day) were in good condition. The restaurants and gift shop in harbor, and beach/pool side was gòod as expected. I use and rate OBB as Good/Average, this is Not Sandals. The Bahamian people are Friendly and Very Helpful. It was great getting back to OBB with the family! We had a great relaxing time! The food at the straw bar was amazing. The kids had a blast kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling. Looking forward to going back soon.

The staff at OBB is always very kind and make the trip worth it! The dockmaster, Kyle, always makes sure my boat is safe, fueled up and iced down! Dawn at the front desk always has my room keys ready for me with her big smile! And last but not least, Becky makes sure my drink stays full and we have the best time! Thank you to the entire OBB crew for making my vacations the best!

In 30 years of traveling all over the islands, Old Bahama Bay is one of my most favorite resorts! Best beach, beach bar and staff in the Bahamas! Hotel and marina! Love the hotel, location and Stephan! If you haven't experienced OBB yet, do so soon!

There were 30 in our group who traveled from West Palm via 5 boats ….. We chose Old Bahama Bay House as the majority of our group are avid sport fishermen and the remaining wanted to enjoy the hotel amenities such as the beach and pool. I will start with the pros … water was phenomenal, the marina and marina employees were extremely helpful with docking our boats and making sure we were all settled in. Immigration checking and gas docks are located here, which was convenient. Both restaurants had good food and drinks. Cons …… Hotel is dated and worn out. They are not re-investing their money into the upkeep of the hotel. Our air conditioner worked intermittently during our stay of 7 days. The washing machine panel was physically hanging off the front of the machine but somehow still worked. The refrigerator barely kept our food cold. Phone did not work at all……. If you needed the front desk you had to walk there or use your cell phone to get in touch with them. The pool …… needs a total replacement. Tiles were cracked and missing. The pool has big holes where plaster is missing. Water quality, extremely poor. There was, what looked like brown sea foam in the pool. Pictures of the facility are not current. …

This is a very nice hotel. The pool is beautiful as is the beach. There are kayaks, paddle boards and rafts on offer. Snorkeling was great. Our room was very comfortable and attractive. Good drinks at the Tiki bar and very good food at the restaurant.

We had one of the best vacations with 4 families boating over and staying at Old Bahama Bay!! The marina is great with daquiris and conch salad while you wait to clear customs or fuel up!! The restaurant was the best! Excellent fresh seafood, grouper dip was amazing! They cleaned our catch and then blacked, grilled and fried it with rice/veggies/mash pot. It was absolutely delicious! The bar was fun as they let us play our speaker box and dance the night away! The pool was the perfect place to end the afternoon for a fresh dip and Sands Light while the kids played and jumped from the top pool. The beach was gorgeous with mat, kayaks, etc. Perfect getaway from Stuart/Jupiter!!! Will definitely be making this our go to weekend getway spot!

This is our third year to stay at OBB. We, along with two other couples, stayed there recently the weekend of 6/23/23. Initially, we had 3 rooms in different villas. The from desk manager, Laquel Stuart, was super accommodating and put us all in one villa. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The views were breathtaking. The staff is super friendly and there is good security. We will be coming back later in July.

Was on a fishing excursion with some friends to Freeport Bahamas from the states. Tried coming back via my boat and the weather and waves were to much so we decided to tuck into Old Bahama Bay. We all have stayed here before and always had a good experience.This was different as it was not planned due to weather but it was a site for sore eyes when we pulled in. Like many others , they were also in the same boat as they could not get home due to the conditions. To make a long story short we checked in and were able to secure 3 rooms. Since it was morning the rooms would be not be ready until the afternoon where we decided to enjoy the day at the pool and bar to enjoy some drinks and have some lunch. Although,the staff was clearly overwhelmed with the volume they were pleasant and courteous as they worked hard to keep up. The rooms were clean and great with nice views of the pool and ocean. That evening we went to the dining room where we were seated for a wonderful dinner . I want to impress upon everyone that the resort was very crowded and I have to say the staff at OBB did a FANTASTIC job as we loved our stay. I will be back sometime this year and will always book at OBB.…
