My other half and I spent 3 nights at this hotel, opened in 2013, whilst she ran the Great North run, don't ask me why but I am sure it seemed a good idea when she entered - the wine may have helped her decision. A lovely hotel with the staff friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The hotel had a...

I stop at this hotel on a reasonably regular basis; usually in Winter when it's not as practical to bring/ride my bike, so I like the gym which is very good & usually not too busy (apart from January when the "resolutioners” attend for a few weeks). The pool facilities also look good but I've never actually used them. It’s...

We were greeted warmly on arrival and shown to our table, which was set beautifully with a pristine white cloth and tasteful, co-ordinating decorations. The food from the a la carte menu was absolutely delicious and very well presented. The service was exceptional and we were offered a complimentary glass of bubbly to toast our celebration. We were also given...

We stopped off at this hotel for one night on our way home from Scotland. This was our second stay in a Boldon Hotel and we were just as happy staying here in Sunderland as we were when we previously stayed in Bolton. Again our room was fine with a comfortable bed and pillows, a flat tv, good tea/coffee making...

Stop off on way south after a holiday in Northumberland. Convenient place. Beds were soft, which wouldn't suit some, but I found comfortable and I slept well. Was disappointed that spa bath/jacuzzi wasn't working as that was the main reason I booked this hotel over other similar ones in the area.

We stayed here due to a family emergency. We travelled to stay with my mother in law as my father in law had been taken ill during their one night stay here on their way home from their holiday. Father in law was admitted to hospital which meant mother in law was 300 miles from home on her own In...

This hotel I think is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. It is very nice and clean inside and the staff are very friendly. The room was large and spacious and also very clean. There is a swimming pool with jacuzzi sauna and steam room and a gym in which you can use for free. Only one...

I ordered a meal for two adults and a child tonight. After 25 minutes of waiting had to ask the waitress where my cold starter and the soup of the day were: hardly anything that takes a long time to prepare. Starters arrived some five minutes later. Mine was supposed to be a heritage tomato, feta and pickled beets. Sadly...

Dear Sir/ Madam As per my direct message to you I would greatly appreciate you contacting me as your ID makes it very difficult to track your stay with us. I take such feedback very seriously and I cannot see from my reports when this discount has been applied to a restaurant bill so further information would be most helpful....
