This was an excellent hotel. I've been looking for a good hotel for quite some time so I can travel to Minneapolis with my dog, and I have been disappointed by quite a few hotels. But not this one! This will be my go-to hotel now when I travel to Minneapolis. It was very clean and updated. Friendly staff at check in. Easy access to an area for my dog to use the bathroom. Will definitely be back.

We were there July 19-20, 2023, when we arrived it was late evening. The hotel is beautiful and we could see the lobby from our room. But after we got ready to go to bed we notice our room was not that cool like the hallway. Our thermostat was set on 65. But it felt like 75. We mention it to the front desk the next day, they send someone to check while we were out and about. We got back and there was a card on the door and it said the AC works. Okay here we are on the 2nd day and we leave tomorrow so the front desk said she would send someone again. And said if we would like to move to a different room. Why would we when we are checking out the next day. The problem was never fixed and they do not offer breakfast for what you pay for this hotel. More then likely we will not stay here again.

The hotel is nice, clean and the staff is friendly. My complaint with the breakfast offered to elite Bonvoy members on weekends. The lounge is closed. Understandable. I was given a voucher for breakfast at the restaurant. Great. Only the "restaurant" was the Starbucks cafe. I was offered one food item and one beverage. So, pick between a coffee drink and orange juice or croissant and fruit cup. Sorry, but the Ren across the road offers a hot buffet or anything off the menu, is just as nice and has a great bartender to boot. Not hard to choose.

This hotel continues to decline from being a first rate business hotel to no longer providing services of a strong business hotel. I have stayed here 3 of every four weeks for the last six years including through the pandemic. We have hosted multiple company and customer events. You can no longer get room service from the restaurant - you get a to go box. I might as well stop at Panera if I want to eat out of a paper bag. The quality of the food and the service of the restaurant has declined. The wine list went from reasonably good to reasonably bad - higher markups with less interesting / artisan wine. A black coffee that you wait in line for in the morning costs nearly $8.00. We have a large employee event in March and a big customer event in August. We will be shopping around. This is a great example of decline after a purchase. There are so many options for other hotels. This hotel has no pool / out door space and it has noise from the highway. Once you eliminate your business traveler it is unlikely to fill up with little league teams.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m surprised to hear your comments regarding our signature restaurant Lela. We are very proud of the food quality and service and receive very positive feedback from the majority of people who dine with us. We hope you will considering choosing us again for future stays and meeting when in the area. I’m confide at that you would have a much better experience.

Stayed at the Bloomington Sheraton last week for a work conference. TL;DR: comfortable room, but far from everything, so only stay here if you have a car. restaurant has extremely limited options, even more so for those with special diets like vegan. Tips: - Rooms either face outside or inside overlooking the hotel lobby. Let the front desk know if you would prefer an outside-facing room. If your curtains are not drawn, people in the lobby will be able to see you. - The Starbucks bar in the lobby is (currently) only open Sunday mornings. The restaurant does not do to go coffee, nor is their coffee that great. There is a Caribou Coffee and Starbucks within short driving distance. - Extremely limited vegan options at Lela. They do not specify what, if anything, is gluten-free if that's a concern. Recommend eating off-property. - HIGHLY recommend only staying here if you have a car. It's in a corporate park area so the closest restaurants are 1 mile or more away and it's not the most walkable area. - I stayed in room 301 which is 2 double beds and faces a parking lot. It's near the elevator so can get loud at night. - I saw some reviews that said the bathrooms were outdated. My bathroom was very nice with a detachable shower head and an overhead "rainfall-style" one. I love that they have large shampoo, body wash, and conditioners for reducing waste. Plenty of counter space, too.

Eduardo Monasterio was the key to a sensational stay. He not only took us on a lavish tour of what has been upgraded and renovated recently but made us anticipate what more we could get into during our stay. His description of the restaurant was outstanding and the staff within the restaurant lived up to his acclaim. The suite was very spacious, and this particular locations M-Club lounge is Elite. The gym is more than adequate and the recommendations for both food in the morning and food off of restaurant menu were spot on! The room was perfectly clean, and the bed lived up to our Bonvoy expectations. We will certainly go to see Eduardo and team again.

After a long day being gone we returned to the hotel to find we had not received any room service. Upon calling the front desk we were told that because we booked through a third-party that we did not get room service unless we specifically requested it. That is absolutely ridiculous, and nobody even informed us of this. So they contract with third-party vendors and then punish people for using them? I would not come to this hotel again because of this.

The hotel is old but has been spruced up. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. The restaurant is nice, but closed on Sunday. The internet is awful. I think some rooms get wifi, but others don’t. No one knew how to fix this, believe me, I asked multiple times. A major technology upgrade is in order. If you need to work, you won’t be able to. If you want to use your phone over wifi, stream Netflix or HBO max, you can’t. Download whatever you’d like to watch before entering this hotel because it’s like living in the dark ages without internet.

I stayed here for business purpose. However, the wifi in my room didn’t work out well. The hotel did their best trying to fix the wifi issue . Even though they couldn’t fix the wifi in my room, they offered me to work in one of their conference room free of charge. I’m a fan of whiskey and they offered me free whisky drink for compensation. Restaurant is also great . Great food. Suggest visiting in happy hour

We needed a hotel near the airport, and this was awesome. Easy parking, friendly staff, and the restaurant was maybe the best part. The food was amazing. The room was super clean, and the staff was helpful yet low-key. We had a suite, and I think the gigantic tub was the reason I decided to stay another night in the end after I dropped my friend at the airport! I wish I had eaten at the restaurant earlier and had 2 meals instead of one, it was so good.
