This campground is no longer a KOA but now privately owned. It has a lot of sites, some in shaded areas and others in the open. Some sites are beside the lake. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. We camped at site 112 which is a full hookup site in the open and is a good size. These sites...

We stayed here for 3 nights, specifically for proximity to visit the Henry Ford Museum and take a tour of the University of Michigan football stadium. We requested a campsite facing the small lake. The one they assigned us to had 3 guys tent camping next to it, who were having a fun time sitting outside, talking and drinking, so...

We visit this campground at least 2 times a year to go to the Henry Ford museum and greenfield village. Full hook up sites are nice. Showers and bathrooms are clean, but we use our travel trailer. Wifi is available, not the fastest, but it works. Staff is more than accommodating when making reservations and at check-in. Prices are on...

We spent 3 nights there while visiting those attractions. The campground is well kept, but has poor drainage so that after a downpour the campers at the next sight were completely surrounded by water. Most sights have trees on both sides and are pretty well spaced. The staff is helpful and pleasant. One thing that we found inconvenient was that...

Older campground with a few sites for larger rigs. Most sites are in the trees and the road turns are really tight. There are a few in an open field for larger units that are full hookup. Great for families with small children, lake is catch an release no need for license, playground, little beach with waterslide. When we were...

Lucky us, we ended up with a site on the lake. Serene, peaceful and relaxing. We were in site #3, which was far enough away from office, playground and rec area to afford us a quiet and restful stop on our way up to UP. Staff was pleasant, courteous and more than accommodating. Would gladly have stayed longer if we...

No longer a KOA, but still a nice property. Fun water slide into their nice lake. Very shaded & pretty, unless you want your satellite tv to work, then they offer pretty much an open parking lot w/hookups. Be sure to make sure your reserved spot can accommodate your rig!!!!!!! Our 38' 5th wheel barely fit--& there's a lot of...

Our enduring impression of this KOA was that of litter everywhere, including our campsite. Even though we had a full hookup site, we couldn't connect our sewer hose. The connections for water and electric and sewer were far apart. You may need extra sewer hose length here. Other campers felt free to walk through our site right by our camper...

Another holiday weekend and another stay at the campground. This time we have a lakefront campsite, which is nice, even if it's very narrow (don't ask for site 6). What is it with people cutting through campsites rather than using the road. There is only a small amount of room behind us and the lake. People from a site down...

This was our initial shake down of our new camper. Our daughter had used this site for her initial shake down too. This met our needs for full pull though hook up. It did rain so it there was alot of large puddles of water around and it is all dirt sites for the most part so it does get...
