We spent a week at D'Omah. It was lovely and we'd come back again in a heartbeat. This is a hotel in a village. That's important, because some of the criticisms come from people who might have overlooked that. There is noise - the calls to prayer, chickens running about the place, general noises from a village. And you could...

We stayed for three nights at the d'Omah on the latter part of a week long immersion retreat into local art and meditation. We couldn't have chosen a better place for both. The eclectic interiors, divine outdoor spaces, batik clad rooms, colours and amazing food created a sacred space for our group and deepened the experience in unexpected ways. The...

We stayed here between Jan 26-Jan 31, 2017 and loved this cosy place. Spending 4 nights with my parents, wife and child at D’Omah Jogja was a unique experience. We got there fairly easily from the airport after negotiating our fare with one of the taxi drivers (later we engaged the same driver to drive us around on the rest...

Sometimes it is hard to find words, but maybe the best way to say it is: We hope to come back and stay at d`Omah Hotel again. We stayed for two periods and in between we cycled for 3 days to and from Borobudur. D`Omah fulfills all the best as a community based boutique hotel, and just as one example...

Situated in the heart of Tembi village, this hotel offers a special welcome and unique experience of life in Tembi. The rooms are delightful with excellent en suite bathroom and access to private pool. Understated, elegant and filled with charm, much like it’s designer owner Warwick Purser D’omah was once his grand estate in the bucolic historic village of Tembi. Javanese traditional houses on extensive manicured gardens make up the villas and house the oversized guest rooms that are filled with Indonesian antiques and hand crafted goods made by his neighbors and with some...

This is a wonderful gem in the rice fields and in Tembi Village, close to town, but very special.
