Loved the place. We loved the town also. Very comfortable, hosts were so nice and everything was perfect! Great breakfasts too. Pretty interiors, with lots of beautiful Craftsman style stenciling. Location was so nice, river was nearby. Great restaurants walking distance.

This is wonderful B&B that is very quaint and full of history. The owners Vicky and Gerry are very personable and made us fell like we were staying with friends. Gerry serves up one heck of a breakfast... Blueberry pancakes one morning and stuffed French toast the next. We loved walking along the water in Bishops Park and the nearby...

My wife and I had an opportunity for an impromptu get away road trip in our Mustang. We found this place on the internet. We purchased the Henry Ford Museum, B&B Package. While there are historic ins nearer to the museum we are glad we stayed here--just a short, easy 20 minute drive away. The location is perfect for an...

Like the other reviewers have stated this is a marvelous place. The house is impeccably clean and full of lovely antiques and a long time ago. The owners, Vicki and Gerry are very cordial, charming and extremely helpful. It is like staying with family. Gerry makes a killer breakfast. I have not told you anything you haven't read from the...

My husband and I needed a break and wanted to visit family and friends, and to see the new sea life aquarium as well as visit Detroit's Eastern Market. All sprinkled through out the Southeast Michigan area. So I searched for just the right Bed and Breakfast in that general area. There were quite a few to choose from, but...

We stayed in this bed and breakfast in August of 2013 (The selector bar would only allow me to select as far back as August 2014, but we were then 8/12-8/14 of 2013). I have been meaning to write this review ever since. I just looked up their website and it looks like they have the same owners. I remember...

While staying in the Downriver area for a family funeral, we tried a local hotel and adjusted our three night stay to one and decided to look elsewhere. My TA reviewers guided me here and I couldn't have been more pleased and blessed to stay at this B & B. The house is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast...

This was my husband's first experience at a B&B and he was OVERLY impressed! The room was spot on, the hosts were absolutely amazing, location was awesome...I simply can not say enough positive things about our experience! We stayed last year (I'm really behind in writing reviews), and he is STILL talking about our stay. Pre-arrival communication was great and...

Beautifully and lovingly restored with 3 rooms to choose from. There are stairs - no elevator. Your hosts Vicki and Gerry treat you like they are really glad you're there. Three blocks from Wyandotte Hospital and close to the center of town, you can walk to restaurants and shops, as well as the hospital. Breakfast is wonderful and cooked to...

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in May, 2014 and I found this historic B&B while looking at up info on the Henry Ford museum. Vicki and Gerry are WONDERFUL hosts, the gourmet breakfasts that Gerry fixed for our 3 mornings were fantastic and filling. If you went away from breakfast hungry, well as my mom would...

“We stayed in the Betty Jean Suite and felt spoiled by the spaciousness. The bathtub and shower are in a big room separate from the bedroom and sitting room. And a separate in-room private bath had a toilet and sink. It also has a nice fireplace (electric) that we found pleasant and relaxing.”
