We stayed at the Country Hermitage for a 3 day weekend. We chose this B&B because of it's proximity to the Grand Traverse Resort where we had a wine pairing dinner planned and didn't want to fight the crowd of others staying at the resort. This turned out to be the best decision we could have made for this short...

We were blown away by the hospitality and the quality of the Country Hermitage. We are from California and decided to check out Michigan. What a beautiful state! But even better...what nice people! We loved the state and traveled through much of it quickly. We wanted to see as much as we could in our limited time. But the traveling...

This Bed and Breakfast, with hosts Carl and Lisa, provided us with an excellent stay while visiting Traverse City and area. The property sits at the top of a long hill and you have great views in all 4 directions. The house, including our bedroom , was very clean. Attention was paid to our request for "scent free". The breakfasts...

The property & house are eye thought of everything you might need in the rooms. Carl's cooking skills made for a fantastic breakfast and Lisa was a super nice host! Definitely would return, need more than one night! It was our first time in a B & B and we loved meeting new people. Great experience!

What a pleasant stay on our trip to Traverse City! We were last minute guests to Country Hermitage and Lisa and Carl, our hosts, couldn't have been more gracious. We had a beautiful, clean, and cozy room that overlooked the cherry orchards and woke up to fabulous breakfasts each morning. Everything homemade and absolutely delicious. They were very helpful with...

My husband and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. The house is lovely, and our room was comfortable and clean. The grounds are beautiful, and we enjoyed running around them in the morning. Breakfast is delicious, and it's close to town without being in town. The hosts are gracious, and it's well priced. In short, perfect. It's everything you...

We were greeted and welcomed warmly by the hosts – Lisa and Carl. They are friendly and very helpful offering suggestions for dining and day trips. They’ve been doing this for 10 years and they know what they are doing. The B&B is beautiful inside and out. I love the historic detail on the inside of the house and yet...

We celebrate our anniversary in July and this year chose this beautiful B&B for our romantic getaway. The entire building was so clean, well appointed with fresh decor and just a generally welcoming atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the innkeepers and the delicious breakfast they served each day. We sat out on the decks in the evening with a glass of...

We were looking for a quick stop-over the day before we went to Mackinac Island for a few days. After our overnighter at the Hermitage, we decided that a return for a few days in the future will be planned. LIsa and Carl made us feel right at home and serve an exceptional breakfast. The room was large, clean and...
