The B&B is beautiful and fully restored! Our bathroom was huge and the bed super comfortable. You can’t ask for better hosts than Debi and Greg. Happy, energetic and gracious. The views from the deck is gorgeous. I think they have ruined us for other B&B!

We had the best time at The Lewis House. Debi and Greg were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious each morning and the bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely clean. The home is very well kept and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back!

We spent two nights in the smaller cottage on the property. Everything inside was so comfortable and conveniently placed. The hosts are gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed exploring the area. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. A bike trail goes right by the back of the property. Parks and a local theatre are very close. Would love to return!

Impeccable gorgeous Victorian home. Wonderful hosts and delicious breakfast offerings. Very quiet. We had no idea there were other guests there. Views of the harbor. The area is very walkable and charming. A lovely getaway for couples. Highly recommend.

We were planning a trip back to MN from NY and we picked Whitehall as a spot to stay because we wanted proximity to the high speed ferry to WI. We also wanted to relax for a few days after a long car trip and explore the sand dunes of western Michigan. How lucky we were to find the Lewis House. It is a 19th C home that has been lovingly restored inside and out. The decor has an attractive minimalist feel with loving attention to the original spirit of the home. Our room had an adjoining "dressing room" and luxurious bathroom. The hosts, Debbie and Greg were available if needed and very helpful. Debbie arranged a separate early breakfast for us to accommodate our ferry schedule. All the breakfasts were quite good - we were so glad not to miss one and we so appreciated her efforts. The property overlooks White Lake which connects to Lake Michigan and is walking distance to downtown Whitehall. The grounds are lovely and there is a delightful deck built into the side of the hill overlooking the lake; a lovely spot to read and relax. If you are lucky, Greg might even be playing his trombone somewhere nearby.

We happened upon The Lewis House by accident. Friends of ours organized a bike trip along the Hart-Montague trail and had listed a small motel across the street from the Lewis House as the place to make a reservation for lodging. By the time we called, it was full so I looked online and found the Lewis House was right across the street. My procrastination making a reservation at the other motel turned out to be the best experience ever! There is not one negative comment to be made about this place. Debi and Greg are gracious hosts. Debi is a fantastic cook and Greg is a talented gardener and grounds keeper. The landscaping and view are gorgeous! Our room was lovely! Meticulously clean! The bathroom was very luxurious as well. Everything about this place is so classy. I loved the decorating style. We will definitely go back and try out a different room as I am sure they are all magnificent!

I had wanted to stay at this B&B since I saw the remodeling being done. It went beyond my expectations. The house is beautifully restored inside and out. The yard and gardens are beautiful. We loved our room, it was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts were delicious. Debi and Greg are wonderful, welcoming hosts. I would recommend this B&B to anyone.

My husband and I have come to The Lewis House in Whitehall, Michigan many times. However, over the past two years, we have not made our usual sojourn to visit. So, I decided I needed a little getaway time on my own. I went up for three nights and stayed in the Sunset Room. It was fabulous as always. Debi and Greg are incredible hosts, so thoughtful and I can say over time we have become friends. My room was so comfortable and had a restful time and really felt rejuvenated after my stay. You can't go wrong when you visit The Lewis House. It is a dream come true in a small part of the planet. The food? Well, each breakfast is just marvelous and well thought out. The whole place is detailed for comfort. My husband and I are planning to come back in the fall together. What a wonderful time. By the way, they take COVID 19 seriously and require masks when inside the house, not your room and I felt safe.

Room Tip: I think the Corner Room is best and then the Lake Room. The stand-alone tub! Oh, the tub!

After a day at Silver Lakes sand dunes, we stayed at the BEAUTIFUL Lewis House Bed & Breakfast. The home is wonderfully restored, you want to spend time in each room taking in the history and the decor. We stayed in the Corner Room and it was wonderful. The bathroom is like a spa. Debi & Greg are great hosts, many small thoughtful amenities, fantastic breakfast and easy access in and out of the house. Home is in a great location, walking distance to town, restaurants and the water. We've stayed in many B&B's and this one is right there at the top!

My wife and I had a truly amazing experience. Our room, sunset room, had a view of white lake. Breakfast outside was equally amazing, with fresh veggies from their garden. Small town charm at its finest.
