My wife and I were traveling to Wisconsin via Michigan. We made a dinner stop at West Branch to eat at Lumber Jacks, whose billboards on the interstate piqued our interest. The hotel adjoins the restaurant.

This the second time in two years a group of us head to West Branch for an over night golf trip. Making the arrangements with Jen couldn't be easier. The staff is awesome and friendly, and the check in is super quick and easy. The...More
I loved this hotel. Everyone is very friendly and the gift shop is super adorable. They also give a 25% discount for breakfast at the restaurant attached. The food is just okay, but I'm not used to hearty, heavy food like what the Lumberjack serves....More
Nice Lumber jack theme, modern, newly built or newly refurbished in great detail.

The "elevator" was my least favorite thing. Not a regular elevator. A heavy door that opens, then you have to slide open the cage, get in and close the door, then slide the cage shut before it will operate. When you get out, you MUST slide the cage shut before you close the door or the elevator won't respond to the next person who needs it. It feels very claustrophobic... but... it's an elevator. This trip I was with my disabled mother so we had to use it. If not for that I would have used the stairs.
