No TP when we got there. Found hairs in the shower drain 🤢. Pots and pans were very dirty and so was the coffee pot. Shower looked like it had a moldy caulk around the edges. TV was a total signal loss until the morning we left. I'm totally okay with outdated stuff, but not with a place not being clean. 1st and last time we'll stay.

This was a last minute booking for our weekend in the Wellston area. The cabin we stayed in had 2 bedrooms. The carpet was incredibly nasty, the furniture might have come from the side of the road or bad garage sale; dirty recliner; the kitchen and bathroom were basic but clean. Bare minimum kitchen supplies. The bedding looked clean, but threadbare, holes in blanket for bed. We spent top dollar for this. Won't be back.

We went to northern Michigan for a last minute weekend getaway and had a hard time finding a place that allowed dogs. I found these cabins by calling around after a night at the Days Inn and wish I had found them sooner! We only one night there and it was perfect. The cabins are 15 minutes from Manistee in a quite town in Manistee National Forest. The owners, John and Joyce, are very friendly and work hard to keep the place clean and looking nice. We had one of the larger cabins and the price was very reasonable - they could actually probably raise their rates and it would still be a deal. I would definitely recommend!

This place is not clean. The Road is busy and noisy. Person in charge was not seen in a day and a half after we got there. Cabins stink from being closed up. No one staying there except us. No revisit

The owners Joyce and hubby are very nice people. I stayed there once in April and again last weekend. I definitely recommend them and I'll be back with my big fur baby and husband again very soon. There's lots to do in Wellston and surrounding towns. Right down the street from Tippy Dam on the Manistee river. Excellent fishing for salmon

My family headed up for a quick weekend escape. We will definitely be back. The owners are so lovely. The cabins are spotless and so comfy. Walking in the forest was relaxing, we even tracked fresh bear prints! BYO salt, pepper, coffee, filters, napkins, towels, and food. There is a grocer in town 15 mins to Manistee and 8 to Irons. Worth the price, best property in town. Loved it!

"Ask because the are more combinations than on the web. Once we called she told us about the perfect cabin for our 5 group. All have nice views in a semi circle. Those in the back though have woods out back and little screen entryways. On the sides have small decks."
