I love kayaking and am always up for a challenging run. Upon arrival, my friends and I decided to take the 7 mile run. We initially helped load and unload the kayaks to help with timing. However, our driver left immediately after the unload leaving us with 4 kayaks and another group with a canoe. We helped the other group... More

So I'm reading reviews on this place. The expectations seemed to be pretty high for everyone. I went into this trip not having camped in 14 years. Have to say, it wasn't that bad. If you're expecting paved roads, or really need a shower while camping, you'll probably be more comfortable in a hotel. Their tent lots were decent size... More

Filthy showers/restrooms-junk everywhere-pothole hell-undesirables habitat-non working water/electric hook-ups-website a complete misleading lie. These people don't do anything but take your money. Find somewhere else to stay.

The owners have a campground and also rent canoes. They lied to our family (2 adults and 2 children under 10) when we specifically asked how difficult the canoe trip was since we were concerned for the kids. "Ma" and "Pa" told us the 7 mile canoe path was completely clear, except for one or possibly two places where were... More

This campground's website was very misleading. The "ole swimming hole" was a scummy pond. There wasn't a water trampoline or a sandy beach as the picture showed. The bathrooms/showers were absolutely filthy. The river had so many fallen trees that it took us 4 hours to tube from the starting location back to our camp site. The grounds are very... More

If you really need sloppy service, filthy campsites, very dusty roads, broken down electrical connectors, mosquitos (many!), uncleaned bathrooms and shower (yes, one was non-working), and did I mention the bathrooms never clean? This is the place! Don't even think of staying here! Just thinking of this place can make you dirty. DON'T GO!

I was excited to find a campsite for the 4th of July holiday weekend--and at $20/night, how can you go wrong? Here's how: When I arrived, I was told that it had been raining for most of the week, so I should check the campsite for standing water. Being that I arrived late in the evening, I figured this would... More

My family rented 3 canoes and within 6 minutes of canoeing, 2 of our 3 canoes cap sized. 2 of which were sunk. We almost drowned: we lost all our belongings as our canoe sunk. Absolutely most terrifying experience of my life.

My friends and I were looking forward to a relaxing day tubing down the Paw Paw river. The last word I would call it...is relaxing. We had 6 tubes tied together. There were so many logs and trees in our way, that my 30yo son had to be out of the tube walking us down the river almost the entire... More
