We LOVE this place! Always great service, wonderful hosts, nice breakfasts, great rooms, tranquil quaint place to enjoy esp. in the busy crazy hustle & bustle kind of world we live in. Each room is unique and have their own Swedish type fireplaces that can be enjoyed by guests. Even in spring & summer free bikes to use. It's nice to go back to an "old school" type of place and stay at a Bed & Breakfast verses the current in thing to do, Airbnb. Super close to the beach, parks for hiking, near New Buffalo which has great restaurants. I can't wait to get back to his Bed & Breakfast! We hope to enjoy it again this winter!!
The Inn at Union Pier is a well maintained, clean, warm and an inviting place. The owner and staff couldn’t be more professional and friendly. The location is great for exploring antique shops, Warren Dunes, the lakeshore, breweries, wineries and some of the best restaurants. We will definitely return.
My husband and I had the most wonderful, relaxing getaway here this last weekend. The inn is so cozy, beautiful, and welcoming. It’s the perfect place to unplug and get away from the business of life. It’s a short 2 min walk to the beach to watch the sunset and also very close to some tasting rooms and about 20 mins from wineries. We stayed in the beachcomber room which was very cute and quaint. Bed was comfortable and the Swedish fireplace was beautiful and gave off warmth and beauty. Our breakfast were simple but tasty and filling and everyone at the inn was just delightful and sweet. We got to learn a little about the history of the inn on our last day which was interesting and gave it even more character. Would love to come back and stay here during a snowy winter day. Highly recommend for couples wanting to unplug and getaway!…
Rooms are small but comfortable. Housekeeping is sketchy at best. Bathroom needs updating with grout needs replacing around tub/shower area. Beds are not very comfortable but tolerable. Bring your own pillow as theirs are lumpy. Breakfast is great everyday. Outdoor area furniture needed repair or updating.
My husband and I have made it a tradition to come to Union Pier every August. After the inn we stayed at last year closed down, a quick Google search led me to the Inn at Union Pier. We will definitely be back! Rooms were clean and comfy. We stayed in the Lakeside room, which had a nice balcony with a view of the lake. We ate several places around town, but my husband and I agreed the best food we had our entire trip by far was the breakfast we were served at the Inn. We also really enjoyed the wine and popcorn served between 5 & 7 and the access to bikes and beach chairs provided by the Inn. The beach is a super quick walk from the Inn. We will definitely be back!
We had an amazing time at the Inn at Union Pier. We stayed two nights in the middle of February. The beautiful fireplaces in both our room and the great room are such a unique aspect of this lovely inn. We also loved the delicious breakfasts served in the dining room, as well as the complimentary wine, popcorn, and cookies in the evenings. My husband and I enjoyed chatting with the owners…so friendly and welcoming. And in addition, when I realized I left my hat in the room I emailed them and they arranged to ship it back to me. We absolutely recommend The Inn At Union Pier and can’t wait to stay there again!
This was our first experience with a Bed and Breakfast ! It was spectacular ! Gorgeous Inn! Wonderful staff including the owner !! The fireplaces in each room amazing ! Wine and popcorn hour so awesome !! The breakfast were awesome too !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The Inn was beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. The quality of service was wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious! We had the Dandelion room which was lovely and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The unique fireplaces brought over from Europe and in many places in the Inn, including our room, make it even more special. They had a wine and popcorn happy hour with coffee, tea, cookies, and popcorn available throughout the day. I would come back again!
We had a great evening at the Inn. Mary Ann and team made us feel so welcome. This charming B&B has wonderfully appointed rooms with full private bathrooms. We enjoyed wine, popcorn and cookies in the lobby during the afternoon. And spent time by the fireplace late into the evening. The staff here are so welcoming and helpful, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast , included in the room rate. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be returning.
My husband and I spent this past weekend at the Inn at Union Pier and we really look forward to staying there again! From the time we arrived and really until literally walking out of the door to head back home, we were treated so wonderfully by Bill, Mary Ann and the staff. We stayed in the Garden Suite and will most definitely again! Our room was very clean, comfortable, spacious and the balcony and kitchen were great to utilize. We loved all the candles too!! Our breakfast each morning was delicious and in an abundance, and the coffee was great! The dining tables were set so nicely and were very welcoming. The staff were all very attentive and kind. The late night snacks were a nice treat and the entire property was just so beautiful. We didn't get a chance to play the board games that were made available or ride the bikes, so next time that will be on our list! I highly recommend staying at the Inn at Union Pier, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Bill and Mary Ann for your kindness, and for truly making us feel welcome. We enjoyed all of our conversations with you and of course we appreciated all of your suggestions on what we should do and where we should eat. We have already shared with friends and family about how awesome you all are and how fabulous the Inn at Union Pier is! How much you care about your guests did not go unnoticed..thank you for your hospitality. We look forward to seeing you again!! Mike and Linda from Chicago …
