My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The people were friendly, but not intrusive. The breakfast was good, with a different menu every day. We went there to get away and relax, and found just what we were looking for. The Inn is old, but well kept. There is no TV to distract, but there are bicycles... More

Two couples visited for four lovely days. Main home has large breakfast area where you can eat 9-11. Great flexibility. Breakfasts are home-cooked and good. Main lounge is spacious for relaxing, reading or having complimentary wine with popcorn 5-7. (Cheese and crackers would be nicer). Beautiful gardens separate main house from nearby home where both had our lodging. Rooms wee... More

We have stayed at the Inn at Union Pier twice and will be going back again this fall again! The place is gorgeous and immaculate and the food is gourmet quality. Maryann and Lori who run the place are so nice and even helped us get a reservation for dinner when we showed up and didn't have one! Love the... More

Came here with a group of 6 couples. The lobby is very spacious with gaming tables scattered in the corners. The grounds are charming with flowers everywhere. There is a hot tub off the garden and bikes you can check out. They also provide beach chairs and beach towels if you want to go to the beach which is about... More

Hi KelloggTraveler, Thank you for reviewing your stay at the Inn. All of you were great at breakfast and at the wine and popcorn happy hour. It was fun to see people actually communicating and playing games in the Great Room. The men were playing poker and the ladies played mahjong which has become very popular at the Inn this... More

Just returned from an amazing stay at the Inn. Staff was very friendly and quick to give suggestions about what to do in the area. Loved being able to walk to the public beach and use the chairs and umbrellas provided by the hotel. They also have some vintage bikes available to ride. Stayed in the Sandpiper room which was... Hi Sarah, Glad you loved the Sandpiper room in the Great House. It has become a popular room since a guest called it the Puffy White Cloud about 2 years ago. It does have a lot of windows and a very calming effect with the accent turquoise wall and many windows. It is the perfect room in the fall and... More

What an enjoyable experience! You are greeted with great friendliness and shown around with an explanation of the grounds. Our room was quite comfortable and had a comfortable bed. They have an evening reception with free wine and popcorn where you can easily get to know others from all over the United States and outside of it too. There is... More

We just recently purchased all new queen mattresses and the year before king mattresses. This summer we have had guests from Sweden, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, and China. this B&B is remarkably clean, hospitable, pastoral, and peaceful. Only an hour from Chicago it is like a world away. Surrounded by woods and gardens, trees alive with birdsongs. Lake Michigan in walking distance. The owners are personable and engaging. We have been going there for many years, always returning joyfully, like coming home. We are always welcomed back like... Hi R & J, It's always a pleasure to see you two again and glad you felt right at home. Most people don't realize how close we are to Chicago and it's like you are in another world. I think our breakfasts are fit for a king or queen because we have the best chefs in the world. Hope to... More

Everything was great. No TV in room was great. Walk to the beach was short. Breakfast delicious. Hot tub hot and perfect. Loved the wine and popcorn each night. Only negative was I did not realize the beach was a public beach so wasn't aware would be sharing it with so many screaming kiddos. But otherwise, perfect vacation getaway.

My husband and I just returned from One night at the Inn. It was a last Minute getaway and we called while eating lunch in New Buffalo. Bill answered and they had a couple of rooms open.
