We traveled all way from Idaho, and I have to give this resort a 5 star Outstanding service when we checked in all way to check out we got a tour on arrival with was VERY helpful. Resort is walking distance to a very beautiful and clean beach our children loved the back yard and other family's were all super... More

Loved that there was a lot of space outside - fire pit, two porches on each cabin, multiple grassy areas for games, picnicking. We also loved taking our dogs to the beach in the morning and evening (when they can be off leash). The cabins were also totally fine - though the bathrooms were very tight.

We booked late in May for a 4 day stay in August, based on a friend's recommendation. It was only after we paid in full (two payments due prior to your stay) that we read the reviews online and started doubting our choice. While some of the reviews were accurate (units could use some updating), others were a little over... More

My daughter and I went to Union Pier for one night and wanted to stay near the beach; preferably a private beach. We stayed in #14 which was a clean 2 bedroom unit with a small living room and a small kitchen. The back is small and nice with a few charcoal grills, tables, swing set, firepit and chairs. The... My husband and I recently stayed for our anniversary weekend. The only positive I have to say about this resort is the location. Its an easy walk to a beautiful beach. We were told the our original charge was about $381.00 then after our stay we were charged $459.00 for a cleaning fee, and charge card fee. Let start with... More

We spent some couple time in Union Pier doing wine tours and stayed at this really cute cottage on a quiet residential street with super expensive homes on it. The cottage has it's own appointed kitchen with utensils, two small bedrooms a bathroom and a small living space connected to the kitchen. The best part is the back porch. The... More

The best thing about this property is the location is close to the beach and the layout of the property is great for a family reunion. There are two courtyard areas with barbque grills and grassy areas for children to run and play. I was able to see most of the cottages because our family had rented all but four... More

We stayed here for two nights when a friend was married across the street at the Inn at Union Pier. The Inn doesn't allow children so we chose to stay here, as we have a one year old. The cabin itself was spacious and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. You pay extra for maid service though and... More

We had a family group that rented 5 units! It was fun seeing all the other units that are individually owned and everyone liked ours the best #16. Firefly Resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained with mature big snowball hydrangeas everywhere. The "'backyard" area is family friendly with lots of picnic tables, chairs, firepit, volley ball, the other renters... More

We loved the location -- easy access to the wonderful beach, easy access to restaurants and the farmers market. Bed was comfortable. We loved that the resort has cottages which are dog friendly. We had read some previous reviews that caused us some concerns but our cottage in high season was immaculate and fully supplied with paper towels, toilet paper,... More
