The only thing good about this hotel is the location...the rooms need a serious face-lift, the bathroom was very small like a closet, the toilet seat was stained and chipped, the deck was rusty and gross...it will fall off soon...I could go on and on. Do your self a favor and stay at one of the many beautiful and newer... More

The only thing good about this hotel is the location.. It is old and way over-priced. The bathroom is like a closet, the toilet was stained and the seat was chipped, the deck was rusty and gross, no mirrors in the room, I could go on and on...the staff was nice but that was about it. Do yourself a favor... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to attend a wedding. On the up side, it was clean, the staff was helpful, and you can easily walk downtown. However, the guest rooms, bathrooms, pool and fitness center need major updates. I stayed here as a kid with my parents 20 years ago and it still looks... More

This older hotel is perfectly situated in downtown Traverse City. It has two restaraunts on site with room service as well if you are inclined to take advantage of. We however found it more exciting to take advantage of a number of quality restaurants within walking distance. We used the large pool and hot tub almost daily the week we... More

Driving through TC and took a chance on this hotel. It's older and has charm. The room was spacious and very well decorated. Very clean. Loved our corner room with all the windows. Just a block away from all the downtown shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the water.

The quality of the room, upkeep and maintenance are what I would expect from a motor lodge or motel. Peeling paint and wallpaper, moldy shower, broken windows, dust and dirt clearly present. While we paid $410 per night the rate should be less than $100 for this quality of hotel. The location is a redeeming feature.

I normally have just two interactions with the front desk staff, check in and check out. Unfortunately I've have four interactions with the front desk staff at this hotel and all four have been unpleasant. Whether calling to confirm a reservation, check in, a problem with our room, or the cleanliness of the room, consistently unpleasant. The size of the... More

Stayed at this hotel for a relatives destination wedding. Hotel was in a GREAT location, withing walking distance to downtown area. Hotel itself was a little dated, but pretty cool. I really don't have anything bad to say about the place. Had a nice stay.

This hotel is in walking distance to almost everything! Just a block from Front Street where the restaurants are fantastic. The pool area and hot tub were very clean, but a little old school. The rooms were very nice, but small bathrooms. The staff was friendly and available. We would stay here again.

Snooty front desk, horribly small room with a broken seal in the window so it was hard to see out. The pictures on the walls had water damage. No snack vending machines and no coffee in the lobby. I guess this was a way to force people into room service or the restaurant. I just wanted a few chips! This... More
