Clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Nice beachfront location. If staying here in the summer, you could keep the slider open and listen to the waves. We did not take advantage of the continental breakfast that would be brought to your room but the selections were sub-par. There are a lot of fantastic restaurants in the area so I would plan on breakfast out.

This was probably the best hotel experience we've had. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They called a week in advance to confirm the reservation, and ask if we had any questions. They texted about an hour after our arrival to make sure we had no issues with the room. They delivered continental breakfast to our room. Coffee and hot cocoa were always available at the coffee bar. The concierge took the time to answer questions about the town and gave great recommendations based on our personal likes.

...Staff: starting with Roachell, then Beverly, Ayesia, Alli, Racquel and Mgr Justin. All were out-of-this world accomodating. We were celebrating our 43rd anniversary and they made sure our stay was ultra special. ...Unbelievably comfy beds, spotless room, beautifully decorated room. ...Bathroom was appointed perfectly and ultra clean. ...View of the Bay was outstanding, right on the sandy beach. ***** We would only stay at The Baywatch Resort when we are in the Traverse City vicinity. We can only say..... it was perfect!

The breakfast was in a box delivered to your room in the morning and they did not knock on your door to let you know that it was there. No carpet on the floors. View was great off our balcony. There was no pool or hot tub. We were told to go swimming in the bay from their private beach. Yeah, this time of the year? Room got hot and we could not change to cooling or fan mode. Heat mode was your only selection. We ended up opening the patio door to let the cold air in to cool the room off. Shower floor was slippery. No strips to keep you from slipping in the shower. Walls are paper thin. You could here a dime drop 10 rooms down so if there isn't anyone around you, it is quiet. I heard the sound of one's spa tub in their room humming. It took a little time to get used to that sound. Great size tv and great pictures. I could not find one place to plug in a USB charging cord into. All were 3 prong outlets. Very outdated room.

Beautiful views. The staff is very polite, helpful and friendly! The room is clean. Private beach is nice, chairs are provided. Boat, kayak and jet ski rentals next to the property. Close to many attractions. It has been an extremely relaxing vacation. The breakfast dropped at the door is nice, but there isn't a lot to choose from. I don't know that it would work well with young kids. Overall great experience.

Staff called me when room was ready (couldn't get early check in) and room was clean and spacious. Nice views of the lake, slider a bit sticky. People walking and wheeling across LVP flooring was loud but otherwise pretty quiet throughout. Nice gym, Peloton (needs calibration) with Lake view. Left something in room and front desk woman went to get it and said she would mail to me. Also nice touch to text throughout and make sure all ok.

We only stayed one night on our way home from Beaver Island, MI. Hotel is not cheap, but you cannot beat the location. All the hotels in this area of East Grand Traverse Bay are similar in price. This hotel appears to be very new or completely remodeled. Staff is very friendly. They followed up with text after check in. A small box-lunch breakfast is provided (menu photo attached). Most hotels of this type do not offer any breakfast, so it was appreciated. Ours was a Jimmy Dean microwavable sandwich, orange & orange juice. The room is, I guess, beach minimalist modern? Hard floors, which make sense given the beach. Bed was nice, comfortable. There is a desk and rolling chair; no sitting chairs. Small fridge with separate freezer. Coffee maker (keurig-type) in room also. Large TV on the wall with a great picture (46 or 55"). Bathroom is nice, clean, modern. Nice shower. Toiletries provided. We were on the third floor at the far end in the building next to the one with main office. You can go out via a breezeway or enter that building with your keycard from outside. We had no problems with noise given our location. You are right on the beach. Great to just sit out on the balcony and listen to the waves. Balcony has two chaise-type chairs and a small table. Hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City. The hotels across the street are a bit cheaper; however the street is busy and I don't think it's worth the savings. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Great location, right on the beach and close to everything. 2 min. walk to all water activities like jet ski's and parasailing. Beautiful views of the bay with stunning sunsets. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. We love this place and come back every year. Get the water-view room if you can. It's worth paying extra.

.The view was top notch. Walk out of your room right onto a patio with a few steps to the beach. The room was dated…but very clean which is more important to us. We were there on a last minute trip and they were extremely accommodating!

Stayed 3 nights. First night honestly wasn’t the best. We were on the first floor 2 doors away from entrance door to building. Door slammed every time someone walked through. Open walkway to the beach through our back porch. No privacy and very noisy. Next day I requested a new room and granted us with a beautiful room on a higher level with a private balcony. We loved the room so much my husband and I stayed a additional night! Rooms are so clean and modern. The gym has a Peloton facing the bay which I took full advantage of all 3 mornings! Complementary breakfast served to your room every morning. The employees working the front desk are so nice and accommodating. They truly made our stay meaningful and memorable. Thank you Baywatch!!!
