We had an absolutely wonderful stay at a rustic cabin in Tawas, MI, right on the beach. The picturesque views were breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for our Labor Day weekend family getaway.
The cabin was quaint and had everything we needed for an affordable and comfortable stay. The location was ideal—just steps away from the sandy beach, where we enjoyed boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Fishing off the dock was a highlight, and we made unforgettable memories around the bonfire in the evenings.
Under new management, this cabin exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. We can't wait to return for another memorable vacation! Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with family or friends.

We've stayed at the Bayview Resort several times with our family. We've stayed in about 5 of the cabins. They are very clean, cozy, & decorated nicely. The owners are sooo nice and welcoming. They treat everyone like family. There's A firepit, grills, & a Very nice stretch of private beach complete w/sunchairs. You cannot go wrong staying here!

We made a last minute reservation here for our first weekend get away together and were lucky enough to get the last cabin and we loved it! just a few steps from the beach and the beautiful view, just a short drive from town and other attractions - it's a great little gem and look forward to coming back soon! Thank you! Angie

The rooms are very clean as compared to some of the other cabins that I have stayed at. Dan (the owner) is a good guy. The place is very quiet and just a few yards from the lake. If WiFi is a must for you, then double check with the owner to make sure that WiFi is going to work in your cabin. I will for sure consider this when I go there again.
