My husband and I went here for a little getaway for our Anniversary. We had a wonderful stay! The views are outstanding! We took our kayaks and kayaked the bay all day. It was fabulous! The free wine tasting was a perk. I do however wish the restaurant was open later. By the time I called at 7:30pm to order... More

My daughter and my-self have always wanted to do this. (wine testing that is) My husband was the driver so he did not drink anything and he does not care for wine anyways. We chose where we could have 5 different taste of wines. My daughter and my self like the more sweet ones that are whites. My favorite though... More

I cannot say enough about the property BUT there was absolutely nothing going on the entire two days we were there. Difficult finding someone to check us in and a note on door saying no full time person in the office during this time of the year - July??. The restaurant and bar closed at 5 PM and we only... More

We were told the Inn recently had changed hands, now belongs to a winemaker. Not sure how long it has been, but there are definitely some bumps on the road. First, the property is fabulous--could not ask for a more beautiful location. Rolling hill, dotted with Adirondack chairs, seating on patio, strip of sandy beach, wonderful new dock. Restaurant is... Great view of the lake but a horrible experience. We called to reserve a room. We arrived but the address didn't match the web address. We could not easily locate the check in area then when we did, nobody was there to check us in. We made two calls to the hotel for help. Neither were returned. We ordered a... More

A Hidden Gem. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Rooms are not fancy but comfortable and clean. Accommodated a family of 5 adults easily. Property is fabulous... Beach, lawn chairs, fire pit, nice outdoor bar area. Great place for a small wedding.

We stayed here for 2 nights. On check in, the owner was very rude. Her discontent for her job was apparent our entire stay. The rooms were dirty. Carpet had sand, dirt and dead bugs. Spiders and ants all through the room. We had creamer that expired in 2015 in our room for the coffee pot. The shower had tiles falling... More

The view and location is amazing! The owner is a little abrasive and almost rude! The rest of the staff, especially Kris is nice. Now, the rooms are dirty. Spider webs and spiders in the corners, ants crawling in the bathroom, and the bathtub was filthy (hair from previous tenants in tub)! How awful is that to not even clean... More

If you are going for just a view of water, this is OK. Otherwise, forget it. This is a true story! We planned on visiting, and staying with my sister-in-law in Sutton's Bay. At the very last minute she decided her house wasn't finished enough to stay there as they're doing remodeling. She tried to get us a room at... More

Don't stay here! Owner is crazy. We tried to cancel our half day wine tour and she started yelling at my wife. There isn't a cancellation policy in place, so we will just have American Express deal with that. She said we tried to cancel that day, which is a lie because we tried to cancel the previous morning. Never... More
