One of the happier tasting places. Staff was great and enjoyable, loved the food and sitting on the patio overlooking the vineyards. Will visit again when in the area. A little tough to find but worth it.

Starting with the location, this complex of red painted farm buildings is set back although visible from off the main road that runs north to Suttons Bay (Highway 22 I think). It’s about 3 miles south of Suttons Bay and about ¾ mile east of the ‘TART’ cycle trail, for those who plan on biking. They have ten rooms, ranging... More

This was our fifth visit to stay in the Inn and it is better than ever-we didn't think they could improve on perfection , but they did. Last summer was the first time Inn guests could get a private wine tasting in the room especially for wine clubs members. It was a fabulous experience. Jessie was our host and did... More

We stayed at The Inn at Black Star Farms for two nights last week. This is not a 5 star hotel, but the price would lead you to believe it is. The decor is dated...lots of oak cabinets every where, the coffee is weak and comes with little plastic tubs of cream, and the room we stayed in was in... More

This is our second trip to this beautiful place. Our first visit was during the fall. The decorations to the Inn made it a perfect place for the fall colors and our weather was cool and crisp. The Inn is situated on their vineyard and you can see it from the main road. We stayed in the smallest room for... More

We just completed a 2 night stay at The Inn at Black Star Farms. It is a gorgeous inn located in the Vineyard in Sutton's Bay. We stayed in the Capella Room and we're pleased with the spaciousness of the room and the comfort of our king sized bed. The walk-in closet was an added bonus. The bathroom was relatively... More

It was quite spacious and had a little fridge. There was also a couch that pulls out into a bed.The bathroom was quite big with a jacuzzi tub with shower. The room had french doors in the back with parking right outside the... More

This was our fourth time at the Inn. It has just gotten better!! We came for the monthly dinner...this time the focus was morels. Delicious!! The environment was lovely... the people attracted to this venue are part of our experience too. From surgeons to truck drivers... from newlyweds to newly retired...doesn't matter all good company for the evening!

The inn was great. I would definitely stay again. The room was clean and comfortable. I am a light sleeper, so I appreciated the white noise machine. I particularly enjoyed the wine and appetizers in the evening. The inn keeper and owner were very personable. We stayed in Atlas. It has an amazing bathroom.
