Beautiful place. Between big 5 Animals. Up close and personal between the big 5. just amazing. Owners Mike and Laura took good care of us checking up on us frequently to make sure we were having a great time. only downfall is that no self drives are allowed. As game drives per/person are a little pricey. not to forget Mike spoilt us with a game drive for our 8year anniversary. Thanks Mike

Thank you for this wonderful review and it was our pleasure to help with your 8th anniversary a bit. I know you had a great self drive in the Kruger. Perhaps next time book our chalets where game drives are included. Glad that overall you had a good time. Kind regards from all of us here.

We love the bush and the Muweti experience was made special by a special sighting of a black rhino on the first evening we were there. What stood out for me is the owner’s love and knowledge of all elements of the bush – flora and fauna. The drives were a university of education and the effort everyone went to source and inform was the best we have had. We have to acknowledge Mike and Hardus for their knowledge and amazing tales of the wild.

Muweti is my favourite place to visit for peace and tranquility. I loved sitting on the wooden deck at the pool and waiting patiently for the animals to walk to the waterhole in front of me. The safari tents are beautifully decorated and on the perimeter of the lodge which makes it very private and makes you feel as if you are in the movie Out Of Africa. As I was having a shower I watched an elephant walk very closely past my tent, he was so quiet I wouldn't have known he was there. The staff are friendly and caring that when you leave you feel as if you are leaving your family. The best part of nightfall was sitting around the open fire in the boma where Mike entertained us with his animal encounter stories. The game drives were beautiful and we were very lucky to watch the sun going down over the river which was full of elephants and hippos. I can't wait to go back, definitely a trip to remember.

We had a fabulous weekend at Muweti Bush Lodge and stayed in one of their tented chalets. What a fabulous experience it was. The accommodation was excellent and being able to spend time at your chalet and watch the game at our own little watering hole was a special treat. Mike, Laura and their excellent staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food, game drives and not to mention the sightings from the main lodge all add up to an incredible time away.
