My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. This was our first time booking a B&B for our 23rd wedding anniversary. We didn't know what to expect and asked a bunch of questions which the owner was patient to answer with glee. The room was as advertised and cozy (202), we took in the use of the bicycles, beach chairs and peaceful grounds. The breakfast experience was good as well, getting to know other travelers was a bonus. We enjoyed our complimentary wine tastings at Fenn Valley and even purchased some for our own stock. Thank you
The staff were very helpful and considerate. The amenities (pool is very small, tennis court has cracks and weeds growing, bikes need to be maintained and the grounds are not notable) need serious updating or replacement. Our roomTV was hit or miss and we never could get the fireplace in our bedroom suite to work.
The Resort is so beautiful and well maintained. Melissa can make a breakfast like no one else I know. OMGosh, so great. Cheesy Hashbrowns and EggyBluberryCreamCheesy thing....more please. We tried to steal the bed. Very comfortable. There were things for me and my granddaughter of 10 to share at the resort, like swimming in the pool and our new favorite game, pickleball. (we brought our own paddles and balls). Walking to stunning sunsets never gets old. Same with walking downtown for restaurants, brew pubs, bars, shopping, you name it. We love Victoria Resort and highly recommend it to everyone.
I went out for a much needed rest and was greeted warmly by the staff, the room was clean and breakfast freshly made every day. I am not much of a morning person so I asked that breakfast be brought to my room; it was very nicely presented and hot! I went out to wander around and more than once the staff asked if there was anything they could do for me, it was a nice change from some of the other places I have stayed, I will definitely be back...Thank you Jim and your staff for a great weekend!
A beautiful property very close to a small beach. Great amenities- especially for kids! Includes playground, pool, tennis’s court, basketball court, fire pit and bicycles. The cottages are well stocked with kitchen items, nice supply of towels, good space and clean! They even provide pool floats and toys and pool towels! I’ve been coming here for over 25 years and love seeing my grandkids enjoy it. Not far from town - restaurants, another large beach etc.
Perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The grounds were beautiful and just a short walk to the lake. Food was good and Bed n Breakfast was very comfortable. We would come back. The town is quaint with options to be active or just relax.
Very nice resort! Jim the owner was very nice. Hot breakfasts in the morning were delicious. Two block walk to the nearest beach. 5 minute drive to town. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and we enjoyed the hot tub. Will definitely be staying here again.
Victoria Resort is such a lovely property that is run by the best staff. Jim is so welcoming as is all his staff and they are always asking if anything is needed. We booked with rather short notice and the small standard queen was the only room available. While is was very nice, it was very small so if you're larger type people or just like more room, try to book one of the other rooms. We did get to see inside other rooms and they are beautiful. There is a covered veranda on the second floor that we used a lot; great place for evening wine. The resort has bikes which we rode to the Cogdal winery (5 miles each way) and it was so much fun. The resort included a coupon for two free tastings which was nice. We hung out there and had really good white wines and some snacks. Lovely property. Victoria is only two blocks off the beach (Oak Beach) so walking there was easy. Saw some great sunsets. The city of South Haven is a 15-20 minute very pleasant walk and Saugatuck and Douglas are a quick drive north. Can't wait to go back.…
The service is impeccable! The resort is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was fresh and beautifully presented with our stay in the B&B. 2 blocks from the Oak street beach and 4 -5 blocks from downtown. We loved staying out of the downtown area. We simply can not say enough good things about Victoria Resort.
Everything was great. Staff was always friendly and attentive and regularly asked if we needed anything. The B&B breakfast was absolutely superb both mornings of our stay. Melissa is magical with her culinary creations. We'll be back!
