Walls were so thin I could hear the entire conversation going on in the room beside me. The bed was the worst I've slept in in a hotel.. it had some weird foam padding and the mattress was very uncomfortable. Plus there was a rule about not being able to bring your own alcohol on to the site. If you...

two other stays were great last weekend we stayed in the cottage. very outdated toilet plugged because we didn't hold handle down long enough (maintenance). BLOOD on the fitted sheet!! blinds wouldn't work. no phone and no bathroom exhaust fan had to leave window open which anyone walking by could look in. Overall a terrible stay

I have been going to this resort annually for six yrs and always stay in the Beach House. I noticed last year a few things needed attention, but this year I was amazed at the decline. It is amazing how fast a place can go down when no one is watching. My biggest concern aside from the quickly declining aesthetics...

Just checked in. Very disappointed. "Historic" not in the good sense to say the least. Hotel and property very run down. Have a room on the 2nd floor. A bit of a hike from the parking lot to carry your bags. Pack light! Stairs narrow and the balcony flooring is rotting and patched. Very spongy. Asked if there was an...

We booked this place specifically because we wanted to relax by a great pool. This is not the place. The pool looked filthy. It is about 10 feet from a highway. The "lake" is a scum filled pond. The "beach" compared to my cats litter box. And the rooms.... I have never seen a room with a full size bed...

Nice little resort with a few small cottages and a main hotel building. We stayed in Cottage 405 which sleeps 4. It has a dorm refrigerator, small microwave and coffeemaker. The rooms are small with limited storage and us 3 ladies found it a bit cumbersome each morning when we were getting ready. But it's do-able. The rooms are nothing...

My husband and I chose this place for an overnight with our kids. We got.marriwd there 10 years ago and decided to return for nostalgia. It has changed owners.since our wedding. They added a pool house with restrooms and a pond with a sand play area and a nice swing. Our room was simple- just the basics. The inn is...

We booked this hotel on the recommendation of a relative. It was easy to find, and we had no trouble finding the front desk once we arrived (others mentioned this as an issue). Our room was not in the main building. It was fine, but might be a problem for someone with allergies as it was quite mildew smelling. The...

The first night we stayed in the older building. The room had a lot of character with the old tub and sink and original hardwood floors. It was very roomy. The 2nd night we stayed in the more modern building and it was also nice. Both rooms had old bubble screen tv's which we thought was odd.

Had a great stay with my kids this weekend. Super helpful staff, super clean rooms-the sheets and linens smelled better than home! We had time to swim and play in the pool (very thoughtful to have fluffy beach towels waiting for us), nine year old son loved playing chess on the supersized set, hung out in hammocks and ate at...
