We had a very nice lake front spot, with one of the best views in the park. The grounds are clean and well kept. Internet was decent, but there is NO cable for renters,,,,a real shame. The bathrooms/showers in the rear of the park are newer, and kept clean, but wheelchair accessibility usage in the showers in limited due to the lack of a shower hose, the shower head is attached to the wall, and unusable by a wheelchair user. The lake is kept filled with water from a nearby stream, and while there is a nice beach area, swimming is ill advised due to the presence of LARGE snapping turtles. If in the area, I would stay again.

Beautiful rv resort! Amazing pool/club house/laundry facilities. My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. Good place to relax and unwind. Not close to Lake Michigan but they have a beautiful pool/hot tub with great operating hours (10am-11pm) they do have very strict rules on your rv size and age. Our is a 2017 but only 23 feet and we didn’t qualify for there minimum 28 foot size requirements. But they still let us stay here and didn’t turn us away. We will definitely be back if we ever upgrade to a bigger rv. I would highly recommend this place if you pay close attention to the rv size/age rules

Don’t advertise Wi-Fi access throughout the park if it is NON-EXISTENT !! We paid a fortune to be crammed in with other RVs and no internet, tv, or phone. Our tmobile home internet solution was a failure there but get out of that rv park and you are fine. Maybe the owner of our pad should have provided a solution for his guests.

Buyer beware. All interior streets support two way traffic, bikes, scooters, golf carts and walkers simultaneously. The right turn to the pond front sites for the Big Rigs has a sharp corner that apparently has been hit and broken the landscape rocks at least "three" times this summer - as told to us by the manager. To preserve the landscape rocks the campground has now placed flagmen signs with flags jutting into the already congested roads. These signs limit the useable width of the road which in turn causes an issue if oncoming traffic approaches as you maneuver corners with these flags jutting out into the road. The campground is clean and the flowers are lovely.

Made a reservation and between making the reservation and our arrival date, my mother passed. I called to see if we could move the reservation out for 2 weeks not to cancel, just move it out 2 weeks, and I was told NO, I had to give them a 10 day notice. So I guess according to their policies, I should have told my mother to die 10 days ago!! Every other camping reservation we had, graciously changed our dates, were very considerate of our circumstances, and didn’t charge any additional fees. Be cautious of this place, they are not a very friendly place, get your money in full, and tough break on any emergencies. We’ve been camping for over 40 years, we’ve had other emergencies and NEVER have we meet with these kind of “policies “. I would NOT recommend this place at all! BEWARE!!!

For anyone that camps DO NOT camp at South Haven Sunnybrook. They are not compassionate or willing to work with you. I may still try to come up, but it may be worth to just lose 179.00. I was willing to except just one night refund and minus the 20.00 camping fee.
I have to cancel and it was 8 days. They said you have to cancel 10 days before. They don't care what the situation is. They told me even if my dad passed away they would not do anything for me. I asked to give the site to a friend, credit for another time. Beth said no.
So sad, looks like a nice place.
Please pass this on to anyone you knows camp.
I told them Poncho.com would not treat any of their campers like this. She said we are not Poncho's. I said obviously. Erica and Rob I am so grateful we found your camp ground. Please excuse my tears when I check in this year.

I could go on forever as to how wonderful this place is. Friendly, welcoming, clean, great amenities. We were here for 36 hours....and strangely enough...my 3 young ones might have been the ONLY ones in the whole place. There are a lot of retirees/old crowd.....but SO WHAT? All were friendly and helpful...almost happy to have some "noise" in the place. Great pool area....great fire pits...fish ponds that the kids LOVED looking at. One night they even had a hamburger cook-out with great food. Here's all you need to know: As we sat at our fire pit on the last night, we were concocting ways to get back to Sunny Brook ASAP!

Having an Entegra RV on a Spartan chassis will allow me to be in this area every year. That will allow me to travel from South Florida back to Sunny Brook. We were here early in their season so we weren't able to enjoy all of there amenities like the beach and pool. We had a beautiful site on the water with a catch and release fishing policy, there were bass and brim in the lake. The managers were very helpful bringing wood to the site, picking up our trash each morning and giving us the names of local hot spots. The down town South Haven and near by Holland areas were very nice.

We stayed here before in 2019 and had a nice time and at that time I left a nice review and we rescheduled for 2020. Unfortunately we had to cancel because I am an RN and was dealing with COVID and could not get out of work. We cancelled before 10 days and rescheduled , Unfortunately my husband got injured and needed surgery so we had to cancel, it was 9 days before we were set to arrive. We were told we would loose our money unless we rescheduled,so we did, and didn’t think there was going to be a problem. 7 days later they called and said since we cancelled 2 times and have never stayed there before ( not true, we were there in 2019) they were keeping our deposit money and cancelling our reservations but we were free to reschedule them and pay again. I told her you were the ones that told us to reschedule and now you are changing your story etc. After speaking to a couple different people they agreed to let us come but said if we cancelled again the money would be forfeited and we could not reschedule again.
We really needed this trip it had been a hard couple of years. We were not treated right from the moment we got there. They were rude , but the place is very nice so we attempted to book for the following year, they kept giving me excuses as to why they couldn’t take our reservation. The rudeness just continued so we actually decided to leave early when they told us my dog couldn’t even bark a couple times when I was playing with him at 2pm in the afternoon, we will never return. We have stayed at several ownership properties that have rentals and have never been treated like this before.
It’s really sad, this was a nice place. Not sure what happened but, if they don’t want more complaints they better get rid of the people in the office and get people who are kind and understanding. Kindness goes a long way.
I would recommend this area but stay in a different RV resort
