Perfect anniversary mini getaway. We had a lovely room with fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Bed was SO comfy and loved that they didn't skimp on pillows. We had a lake view which was beautiful and very comfortable with a seating area, mini kitchenette and desk. Stayed two nights and dined both nights in the onsite restaurant - nice menu and food was very tasty and well prepared. There was live music the second night we stayed. I had mentioned that we were coming for our anniversary and they had a little treat for us each night at dinner, which was a lovely touch. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. There was a continental breakfast available, which we did not end up partaking in. The surrounding area is beautiful and the resort is really close to Gunn Lake Casino - for fun we stopped by the casino for a few hours one afternoon and won a couple hundred dollars. About an hour away in Fennville, you'll find two wineries and a cidery within a mile of each other. Plus Crane's Pie shop which everyone raved about, but was unfortunately no open during our stay. We did not go to the cidery. Stopped by Fenn Valley Wines which was a nice experience. But then we stopped into Modales Wines and were blown away. Our best wine tasting experience ever - including Napa Valley! The wines are outstanding - in my opinion, the best Michigan wines being produced today. And if you're lucky, Cat will guide your wine tasting. It was a great experience. We learned a LOT and had a blast with Cat. If you are ever even remotely close by, I highly recommend stopping in to Modales - you won't be disappointed. All in all... a great stay. We've been to Bay Pointe Inn before and will definitely be back!!!…

What a gem of an Inn. We stayed here for a midweek ski trip to Bittersweet Ski Resort. From the cookies in the lobby, to the comfort and style of the rooms, to the breakfast and dinners at the grille, and the sweet smell of roses throughout the hotel, my family loved our stay. The front desk was super accommodating when we decided to stay an extra night due to weather issues (needed more snow to ski) Everyone we came into contact with who worked at BPI was friendly. Our tween son loved the pool and said "we need to stay here every time we come skiing." We agree with him and we will be back nxt ski season.

My husband and I recently spent a Fri and Sat night here. The room was fine, but there was little to no customer service during our stay. We were gone all day Sat. and came back to find that our room had not been touched, no bed made, no sink/toilet cleaned, no clean towels. When I messaged the "24/7" live chat, it took them hours to get back to me and their response was that they were new to the job and were spending time with their family "off hours." So I'm not sure why they say it's a 24/7 live chat. I would be worried if I was planning a big event here. At more than 150$/night during the off season, I would not pick this place again.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, food was amazing and make an appointment for a massage! It was raining but you can still enjoy a stroll and do some shopping. I loved being able to buy a book and just enjoy my time.

If you look for quiet, isolated and friendly place, Bay Pointe View Resort is the place!!! We had wedding party to attend and decided to spend extra time at Bay Pointe. We made great choice! Place is nice and clean. Rooms are very comfortable. And stuff is amazing. Very polite and respectful. Great place for parties, but also for relaxing if you want to escape busy city life.

We ordered perch and chicken dinners. Chicken was dry and perch was tasteless. Both were way overpriced. Service was bad. Did not deliver cole slaw which was listed on the menu. No cream for coffee. This was our first and last visit.

The Bay Point resort in Shelbyville Michigan proved to be a superior wedding venue! Our experience with our daughters wedding, from booking the event until turning the lights off on the event on wedding day was fabulous! The staff and the facility and the view made the whole experience for my daughter and new son-in-law magical! I would highly recommend this venue for any event, but what a perfect place for a wedding!
