Detailed Reviews
Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Upgraded lights that dimmed. Only issue was the bathroom had a nightlight that didn’t turn off. Bathroom had frosted glass doors so light through was visible. I put a towel over nightlight and that helped. Not a big deal but prefer it dark. Otherwise I recommend this hotel, one of the nicest I’ve been to.

Hotel's Favorite
We were there for a wedding in the area.
The hotel was excellent and very modern and the bed very comfortable. My husband and I slept like babies. I would recommend the Hotel as it was beautiful! 5 stars ⭐️ on the Hotel!
The only problem was the next morning when we went down for breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel Verona. There was a group of us of about 18 people. We sat at two tables and ordered our breakfast, which was very pricey per entree. The waitress
( unfortunately only one waitress) took orders and brought them out individually. Everyone got their meal at different times. I was waiting and I never received my meal. The waitress apologized and said the cook did not see the order she said she was putting the order in .I told them to cancel but they gave it to me as a carry out. I did not eat it as everyone said the breakfast was terrible. Plus beware they automatically add a 22% gratuity to the bill.
Wish they had some kind of continental breakfast for hotel guests.

We stayed here in July 2023 for a wedding at a nearby venue. This hotel was delightful, sparking clean with large comfortable rooms. The very attractive restaurant and lounge are part of the lobby so it all feels open and sophisticated. We had breakfast and it was delicious - perfectly cooked eggs, pancakes, toast with just the right amount of butter! The pool and fitness center were clean and quite nice looking. Big windows in the pool area just now look out on a bland parking lot but that paved area likely allows for the creation of pool-party events. Each staff member was kind and very well trained. Highly recommend!

We were taking a local staycation overnight for the first time away from our child ever to celebrate our twelve year anniversary and found the Cambria as a good choice that was near home and because it was new and appeared clean. We checked in with no issues, except that you can barely hear the employee you are speaking to over the loud pulsating music coming from the restaurant /bar 10 feet away in the same lobby which was super annoying. We did make reservations to eat there for dinner but after looking over and seeing some of the clientele lurking at the bar area we went out instead as it was not family friendly. Overall, the hotel and room were clean enough but the beds and pillows were super uncomfortable. The pillows are square and not normal rectangles so good luck sleeping on them. Even though our room was literally at the very end of a hallway by the outer side of the building, multiple people were slamming their room doors and yelling loudly and slamming doors some more ALL NIGHT LONG. We never went to sleep and I am unsure why the hotel does not have any security walking around to make sure other guests are not disturbing everyone else staying there. It definitely ruined our entire stay which we had looked forward to for months as it was our first time away in years and just wanted one peaceful night. We checked out by 6:30am because we couldn't take it anymore and just wanted to go home. We informed the front desk person upon checking out about our disappointing stay when she asked how it was and were told someone would call us regarding the matter, but almost a week has passed and no one has called or reached out. We have stayed in many hotels and have had better experiences for much less cost than this. So disappointing and ruined our anniversary completely.

The Cambria in Shelby Township is located just off M-53. It's a beautiful hotel with a fantastic bar/restaurant and lovely, reasonably-priced, modern rooms. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms have solid flooring (good riddance hotel carpeting!) but that adds a bit to the noise from adjoining rooms. There was a lot of evening noise from the hallway. The bathroom was clean and sported a fun bluetooth-enabled mirror. The fridge is the minuscule square type and the coffee maker did not work, but overall it's a great hotel. I'll definitely stay again.

Wife & I just went back for the second time. We purchased the standard King suite. The rooms are clean and modern. Nice setup to match. They DO NOT have microwaves but seem to have the rest. Definitely no issues with the rooms but they are new. Hopefully they can keep it up.
The food at Verona is top notch. The whole menu is worth a try. The center cut steak is my personal favorite.
Note: The restaurant and hotel DO NOT coexist. Therefore, the Dine/Stay package is not worth the headache. I've had issues on both visits and this past one, just leaving my $50 credit behind.
To go along, the staff between the two clearly don't have a system setup to relay this information. So avoid the package but don't avoid the stay. Great place for a night out and great food!

Great nice place but noisy on the weekends. An Italian restaurant is connected to the hotel. There is a nice patio to eat outside. So, if you want peace and quiet you need to ask to be placed AWAY from the restaurant and patio. I think they should tell you that it is going to be noisy on the weekend nights so you have a choice of where to stay or it will make your stay miserable.

My girlfriends and I stayed at the Cambria Shelby for a girls night away. It was a perfect location, close to shopping and restaurants. The entire hotel is beautiful and the lobby is stunning! The hotel staff was so kind and helpful and the food at Verona was absolutely delicious! Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated and so clean!
I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be staying here again for sure!

Great stay at Cambria. Easy check in, room was very nice. Great shower and a comfortable bed. Room was clean. No issues. Highly recommend.
There is a bar and restaurant in the lobby. Several nearby restaurants within walking distance. Location is close to anything you need.

I stayed for a week. Not impressed, no microwave, espresso machine not what I want every morning, just a good cup of coffee and free coffee is from 7-11 am. Restaurant hours didn’t meet with my schedule so no breakfast.
Hotel itself is beautiful, very nice, spacious room.
Ok for an overnight stay but not set up for a lengthy stay.

Sorry I don’t know. But we really liked this spot.
Thanks for reaching out! We do have an indoor pool, but there are not hot tubs in either the pool area or guest rooms.
Thanks!
Hello Kniden, you are correct the Cambria Shelby has walk-in showers.
