Enjoyed our stay. We were only there for 1 day and didn't use the amenities but the room was clean and nice size. Enjoyed having a refrigerator as well as a microwave. The staff was extremely friendly.

By all appearances this is your typical budget hotel with a COLD pool and decent hot breakfast options. The lobby, pool area, and our room were clean and well maintained. It isn't the best, or worst, place I've ever stayed at. HOWEVER! We unintentionally discovered that this

We stayed at this hotel to attend a concert for the evening at the local casino. The service from the phone call to book the room to check out time was amazing. Comfortable room, comfy bed and very clean.

Looking for accomodations with a kitchenette that has a stove
I am sorry but the Best Western in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan does not have kitchenettes. Our rooms do include coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators but no stoves.

Hi, I want to know what mattress brand Best Western Sault Ste Marie uses?
This was one of several hotels and BW's that might NOT have had that extra layer of softness, like a super-wide thin pillow on top. These are kind of nice for that softness BUT I'm one that does much better with less pillow under my back.. Standard mattress gives me better support. Canada has restaurants, stores and the like that do things a bit different than they do in the good ol' USA. Nothing extreme except for the sad choice of leadership. The country is very pretty and people are like people elsewhere, pretty nice. Back to the mattress, no pun, I was too tired to look under the fitted sheet and zonked out effortlessly. Not a bad property as far as my experience went except for the parking. A moderately-sized restaurant is on the ground floor on one side of the hotel, where most of the parking lot is located. There are people dining and drinking there who rightly park in the hotel lot. We did okay, but always using a rental car, we like to keep an eye on it and find a safe place to park, away from the madding crowd, and I couldn't do that. BUT the people everywhere were decent and the vehicle was fine. On the third floor I could only see the far edges of parking and a vast expanse of whiteish flat rooftop. Like many properties, elevators seem at a premium so whether u want to get quickly to your room or u want a higher vantage point in a leisurely fashion...
