This is a very popular campground, and the waterfront spots are almost always full. Reservations are recommended especially during the summer. We met several people who come back every year, in the same spot, for months at a time. We “site hopped” when we visited as we kept trying to get on the water. With persistence, we did score with... As a tent camper, I tend to stay away from private campgrounds and now I remember why. The bathroom facilities were clean and modern and they have a great location to town (Soo Locks Boat Tours are literally two doors down). It was great to sit on the benches on the river and watch the freighters, but they are definitely... More

Make a reservation well in advance to get a good campsite. However this campground is not very big so you can easily walk 75 yards to the shoreline and get some amazing photos of ships passing by from the Soo locks. Within walking distance of restaurants and local attractions. Clean and roomy facilities, showers etc. Definitely one of the better... More

Great campground right on the St. Mary's River. Run by the City of Sault Saint Marie, they have large sites with electric and water. Sites were level and campground was clean. Huge areas for dog walking. The best thing is the great view of the St. Mary's River. We stayed here 3 nights and saw many Great Lakes ships pass... More

Checked in for 2 days and got site #5. It's still a view, but not premium pricing. All spots are back-in. The bathrooms and showers were clean and single stall, so there's more privacy. If you have a rear living camper with big rear windows, it would be awesome in a premium space. The price is slightly less than other... More

Campground is right on the St Mary's river, and close to everything in the Sault. Prices are good and the view is great for watching the boats. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and the campground was clean and well taken care of. Only problem we had was the sites are very close together and hard to get into with... More

We have been camping at Aune-Osborn Campground for 12 years and it only gets better. The hosts are helpful and informative. The campground is well-kept and offers holiday cook-outs and get-togethers. Sault Ste. Marie offers many interesting sights to see as well as the famous Soo Locks. Engineer Day offers an inside look at the locks that is very interesting.... More

The campground is direct water front St Mays River and is just east of the Soo Locks. This is a relatively new campground run by the city. The showers and restrooms are clean and neat, the staff is nice. It is mostly grass/gravel. It has electric and water. No sewer, but does have dump station. Tree are small and do... More

People bring tents, motorhomes, etc. Great easy hook up and enough room on each lot. Showers are clean and nice. Locked code for women's bathroom and showers. You are looking at the water and Canada. Convenience Store across the street walking distance. Dogs welcome on a leash. There were lots of them. Catholic Church and Look out tower just down... More
