My sisters and I have been meeting at Marywood Manor for the last 6 summers for our annual sisters' weekend. We have stayed in several different locations but nothing compares to the comfort and hospitality that Gary and Jan offer. We enjoyed the fabulous breakfast in the morning and relaxed on the front porch with a glass of wine in... More

My husband and I had never visited Saugatuck before but had heard so many wonderful things from friends and family that we decided to take advantage of the long Memorial Weekend with a trip away. After much research, we found Marywood Manor and called to see about availability. We immediately got such a warm and inviting feeling from Jan as... More

We just returned from a wonderful and relaxing weekend at this charming B & B. The hosts are warm and friendly with an excellent sense of humor. They really capture the spirit of why you would chose a B & B over a hotel. The Manor is very intimate. We woke up for breakfast and enjoyed our chats with all... More

Jan and Gary are gracious hosts. Their attention to detail is amazing with all of the comforts of home taken care of. The location is excellent and there is no need to drive once you arrive. Jan is an accomplished cook and her breakfasts are excellent with plenty of variety to accommodate even the most discriminating of tastes. We stayed... More

My 2 sisters and I decided to go on a weekend trip. My 1 sister found this beautiful B&B called Marywood Manor in Saugatuck Mi. So we decided that would be the place to go. It was a warm and wonderful welcome...The room was perfect for the 3 of us with a small porch and a swing. The shopping was... More

I surprised my 91 year old Mother with a 3 night trip to Saugatuck. This was my 3rd trip to the area, but her first. Marywood Manor was the best choice I made on this trip. I would not hesitate to make a reservation here in the future. My Mother loved it so much she said she didn't want to... More

Lovely place, however the owners have a strict "NO cancellation" policy . I had booked this resort for my 60th birthday girls weekend. Three days before check in my elderly father suffer a stroke and was in critical condition. I called to explain and cancel my reservation. I was told by Mr Kemp, one of the owners, that the room... Saugatuck is a lovely little town on the west side of Michigan and a two and a half hour drive from the Detroit area. We've stayed with Jan and Gary once before and enjoyed it both times. We had the upstairs suite which was very private and roomy. Very clean and charmingly furnished with lots of storage and a mini-fridge.... More

Needles to say, Saugatuck is a delightful village to visit, spend a few days, and relax. We found a lovely B&B in which to spend a few days called the Marywood Manor. Being on a side street right at the end of Main St. downtown, it had the perfect location for walking anywhere we wanted to wander. It's innkeepers were... More

Beautifully quaint four rooms bed and breakfast on a dead end street at the end of Saugatuck. Wonderful place with parking in the back, fountains to relax with, comfortable rooms with refrigerators and tv. Linens were soft and beds are great. Snacks anytime (pretzels and snack mix), water in the rooms, breakfast was amazing. Quiche and homemade scones for breakfast.... More
