My husband and I have stayed at this B&B once before because we enjoyed it so much. We were just there again this past weekend, and once again had a fabulous time. The rooms are delightful and wonderfully decorated. The bed and the linens were so comfortable. The sun room is amazing and comfortable, and its so nice NOT to...

My husband and I stayed at Oak Bay B&B for 2 nights. It was so clean and quiet with beautiful gardens. The breakfast was outstanding....fresh fruit, yogurt to start followed by a hot breakfast with choices between pancakes, frittata, etc. The best part is they wrap up 2 warm muffins for you when you leave. We also loved the proximity...

The location is in a lovely neighborhood and easy to find. We stayed in the Garden Guestroom which was small but VERY comfortable. As it is on a corner of the house it has two windows which provided light and a feeling of openness as well as fresh air and a view of the front garden. The bath is across...

In mid May my wife and I stayed at the Oak Bay Guest House. No it's not a Marriott or Hilton resort; it's better. Oak Bay is an older restored home located just 2 blocks from the bay on the east side of downtown Victoria and is not only charming but full of antiques and memorabilia about old Victoria. The...

Lovely house and great breakfasts. Sun room with fridge tea coffee + biscuits + books galore. Too expensive for us in season but being just out of season mean't we could "treat ourselves" to some luxury. Well worth a stay, hope to be able to re visit sometime.

The common area is very pleasant as are the surrounding gardens (as befits a place in Oak Bay) but what really made the visit special was the solicitude of Egle who runs it. I had an emergency while I was there and she could not have been more helpful, doing everything she could to provide facilities, support and advice above...

Stayed for two nights and found the B&B to be very comfortable and located close to the marina and 'Village'. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms and beds were exceptionally comfortable. No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms, but are available on tap in the large lounge area. The breakfasts are eggs, eggs and more eggs! If you...

We stayed for 6 days in this lovely old house, very old world charm with great food and hospitality. A very quiet and peaceful place to relax and let the world pass you by. I loved the large sunny sitting room complete with coffee/tea and biscuits plus fridge and microwave should you so need it. Derek and Egle were so...

Staying at the Oak Bay Guest House in Victoria was like staying at my mother's- comfortable, friendly and delicious. The rooms were clean with an old Victorian feel. The place is quiet and is situated in a quiet and stunning neighborhood. We ran each morning to the ocean and nearby park before breakfast. The breakfasts were appetizing and fulling. This...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled in the quiet, safe community of Oak Bay, where wealthy Victorians have been escaping the hustle and bustle of Victoria's Inner Harbour and the Empress Hotel for over a hundred years. Be only minutes (and a world) away from all the Victoria has to offer. This Victoria Bed and Breakfast, located in BC, Canada, is a gracious 1912 Victorian Home. The home was converted to the Newport Inn in 1922 and has been accommodating travelers to Victoria since then. There are 9 rooms and 2 suites, all with private bathrooms (10 of the bathrooms are en suite). Free breakfast. Sun lounge is perfect for an afternoon cup of tea or snack. A fireside lounge is cozy for an evening glass of wine. Oak Bay is a walkers paradise. Easy walking distance to Oak Bay Village, Oak Bay Beach Hotel, Oak Bay Marina, Victoria Golf Club, Royal Victoria Yacht Club, Willow Beach and almost countless parks.
