Hotel management was super nice and helped us get a room late at night when our our flight was delayed and reservation at another hotel were messed up. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. After a good night of sleep, we caught the free shuttle to the island.

Staff was very pleasant especially the front desk boy. We also had a late request to change our room to the bottom floor and he was able to get the room changed even on a busy weekend. Room was clean. Plenty of parking and well lit. Will be returning in the future!

Clean and adequate for the price. I suggest a second floor room if possible due to morning and late night parking lot noise. I would rate higher except the included breakfast is woefully lacking and far below other America Best hotels. I would stay again but bring some breakfast items to add to the coffee and toast.

Room Tip: Bring breakfast items with you. The hotel breakfast is a C minus. Rooms are fine.

You get what you pay for in life. Nowadays a nice hotel room in Michigan is $300 - $450 a night ish. We wanted to save a little money since we were only staying here 1 night and then on our way up to Munising to a nice hotel. We paid $160 to stay here as opposed to the Best hotel down the road which wanted $325 for a king bedroom. So staying here paid for our $100 lunch in Mackinaw City and paid for our $75 dinner in St Ignace which was nice. We were hoping the compromising of stay here to pay for those couple meals would be worth it but I don’t know. I am one that fully understand the concept you get what you pay for and here I think maybe we should have just paid the extra money to stay somewhere nicer. The carpet was stained up pretty good. We had a 9 month old with us and we’re afraid to let her crawl around. The front door rubbed against the ground so bad that a small women or elderly person absolutely would not be able to open it. I’m a 32 year old strong male and it was difficult for me. There were quite a few pieces of other peoples hair stuck to the sides of the shower. All in all I would not say it was gross but it certainly was not clean or nice in any way. If your younger and on a real tight budget it may suit your needs for a place to sleep. It was bearable. If your one that’s used to nice living and can afford nicer I would save money another way and spring for a nicer hotel.

Though it was a pleasure hosting you and nice to hear that you had a good time in Saint Ignace, we are saddened that our accommodations did not meet your expectations. It is our goal to offer great value to our guests while keeping our prices competitive for the area. We do appreciate your constructive feedback as it gives us the opportunity to make improvements. For the $$ paid for 2 nights, I am heavily disappointed. Hot tub jets broken, no microwave, no actual blankets on the bed to speak of, broken bathroom tiles, room needs a good clean (115), huge roofing project going on , guests should have been notified. Breakfast shouldn't even be offered at this point with only mini bagels, toast, a few yogurts and coffee, juice, milk. The typical continental breakfast usually at least has muffins or SOMETHING, ice machine broken, pool area very worn down. The fee for this room should be no more than $85 a night for what us there. I travel frequently, and I more than likely will not return here.

Stayed here because we wanted to catch an early ferry over to Mackinac Island and everything else was booked. I could smell the mildew odor in the room even BEFORE I opened the door to go in. As soon as I entered my sinuses went crazy. Noticed a layer of dust on top of the curtains when I closed them. Carpet stained; bathroom old, dirty grout on the floor. This is a bare basics room: nothing is nice in it. Pillows smelled like dirty hair (yuck), we had to spray them with Febreze. My companion slept in her clothes and shoes. The person at the desk informed us we didn’t need a password for the WiFi which was a joke because I barely got one tiny bar there on my IPhone: not enough to even access the internet. This is a problem because the LTE on my phone wouldn’t work in their remote area either. So don’t assume you can access the internet here at all. Coffee made in the room is atrocious. On the plus side, it’s cheap, the exterior seemed tidy, and the person at the front desk was courteous. There is also an ironing board and iron.

This place is conveniently located, on the same street as most popular restaurants and other hotels. It very much reminded me of the Howard Johnson motor lodge we would stay in years ago. Some of the towels are older some of the finishes are older, but it is just a really well cared for property. Sheets, towels, the entire room was very clean. Everything is in good working order, there is ice, and vending. If you’re traveling from far away, this motor lodge is very safe and in a safe town :-). Both the gentleman that checked us in and the gentleman that checked us out were very friendly and efficient. We really liked our stay here, we slept well, and we would definitely return!

This place was a great find! It was clean, ample parking, and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in on this road trip of Michigan. Strong water pressure in the shower. The location is convenient if you’re going to Mackinaw Island for the day and need a place to stay for the night once you get off of the ferry. I recommend it.

We Stayed here the 17th-19th. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and courteous. The only issue we really had was our hotel room door was a little difficult to open. The pool and hot tub were open, they usually offer a contental breakfast, but covid restrictions made it difficult. But they did offer a "grab n go" bagged breakfast if you went to the front desk and asked! We got one each morning we were there, and we're thankful they did that! There was a Semi Truck show/parade while we stayed and they drove right by the hotel. Pretty cool stuff. Overall it was a pleasure to stay there.

We took a last-minute trip over the weekend, so of course everything else was booked solid. We stayed on the first floor and had noisy upstairs neighbors, as well as rude and noisy neighbors next door, who insisted on smoking and laughing right outside. The website said they offered free continental breakfast, but they do not due to covid. The room is tired and unclean, and I would not recommend staying here if there is vacancy in other hotels in the area.

The breakfast area pre pandemic was very nice from what I heard, waffle maker, cereal, muffins, bagels, eggs, juices, toast. Since the pandemic they have boxes you can get from the lobby that have yogurt, fruit and a muffin
