The theming of this place did not disappoint. I loved all of the little touches throughout the room. I even found bigfoot! The bed was very comfortable, there were welcome snacks left for me, and the mood lighting was so relaxing. There was a white noise machine in the room. The recliner chair was a massage chair. Shower temp and pressure was perfect. The hosts were great about staying in touch and accommodating my late arrival.

This hotel is a very quiet, quirky and quaint place. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The owners go above and beyond to be sure that your stay is the best that it can be. Would recommend this place to everyone and would stay here again.

We loved the forest themed decor. We stayed in the king room and it was so welcoming, cozy, comfortable and clean. It was like you were staying at a friend's house in their guest room/bath. Great attention to detail. We were only here one night as we were just passing through, but I so wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again!!

Love the room theming, the great wi-fi and comfortable bed (and especially the vibrating recliner after the Labor Day bridge walk). Definitely will stay here again. The proprietors were incredibly friendly and helpful as well.

Was perfect for our family! We stayed in the cottage which was nice to have separate bedrooms. The massage recliner chairs were awesome. Clean, cozy and great location to downtown area. Would definitely recommend.

As always a great stay with the best “Inn Keepers”. Rooms are wonderfully decorated and comfy. Soothing heated massage chairs and very comfortable beds. Nice fluffy towels instead of skimpy thin like in big Corp hotels is awesome. Super close to the Casino and just far enough away from from big places with all the noise. Overall great quiet and relaxing stay for us older folks.

By far the best hotel in St. Ignace! We will never stay anywhere else if we can help it. We have visited this hotel many times and Bob and Elaine are absolute GEMS! The hotel is clean and cute. Beds are comfortable. There is even a little gift area in the lobby with everything you could ever need or want! Can't wait to see you guys again in July! Much love from the Bates.

My husband I stayed here for 4 nights and look forward to a return visit. We stayed in a queen room, which was quite small, but comfortable, very clean, and decorated in a cute bear/woodsy theme. The motel owner, Elaine, was very gracious and welcoming. She called me on our way to the motel to confirm our arrival time and gave us an alternate route to avoid construction in downtown St. Ignace. Our get-away was in celebration of our 48th wedding anniversary, and there was an anniversary card and cupcakes waiting in our room when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and the massage recliner was very welcome after a day of exploring parts of the Upper Peninsula. We’ve stayed at luxury 5-star resorts (including several Gaylord Hotels), so I couldn’t give this 5 stars, but I do give it an enthusiastic 4 stars. St. Ignace is conveniently located for easy access to Mackinac Island, Sault Ste. Marie, and we took day trips to Marquette, Pictured Rocks, and Tahquamenon Falls.
