We are avid campers and finally committed to Thousand Trails Camping pass. We have been to St Clair for years on Holidays with our neighbors, and it was on a bad decrease over the years. But we went this year (multiple times) with fully expecting more rough stays because of C19, but was amazed by the work that was done there. First of all the roads were smooth, which was never the case, and we were put in a notorious flood area which we questioned, but they promised it was resolved. To our surprised it poured on one visit, and we had no water! It drained so nicely. They had new surfaces on some amenities and put in a bocce ball courts 😍. Was disappointed that the golf putt was not open, but they are working on repairing it. The staff was amazing all 3 times we were there, and the Rangers were everywhere for help and taking care of things. My neighbors are on the annual waiting list, and hope they get in! We are considering going on the list, but took the first step on Membership this year. As for the pricing, compared to others in the area we discovered that it was in the same range. Excited to see what changes they have in 2021.…
The manager here was extremely rude - after asking me to move my RV because a tree may fall on it he proceeded to berate me for not being at my RV when he called. He did not ask why I wasn't there, he simply filed a complaint against me with Thousand Trails. He did not take the time to understand that my father had gone to the emergency room while I was visiting, he expected that it would be more important for me to call my campground and notify them than it would be for me to be present with my family. There was a complete lack of communication, antagonistic behavior, and I will NEVER be back to St Clair. Furthermore I will tell every TT member who asks, the people who run this park are disgusting. This experience has damaged my relationship with Thousand Trails as well and makes me both regret and reconsider my recent purchase of the Elite Connections membership. How dare you threaten my membership without even talking to me first? You take the word of your campground manager over your customer without so much as an attempt to communicate, I see St Clair isn't the only one claiming communication is important and then failing at it absolutely. Shame on you.…
Had a great time, the new manger and his staff worked hard to make this a very safe and fun experience for the families and the children/grandchildren that were trick or treating. They made sure that no one was driving in the park during that time. Much more relaxed and enjoyable this year than compared to last year. Had a great turn out!
We met family at the resort for a weeks stay. We rented a TT cabin, it was spacious enough for us, good storage and well kept. Had a great vacation. The park is quite and beautiful. What a great time.
Clean and well maintained campground. They continuously make improvements. Staff are second to none they do a great job to make your stay great. Lots of weekend activities for kids and adults. Nice trails for a good walk.
