What a lovely Inn. The house is beaustifuly decorated and maintained. The breakfastroom was beatiful looking out over the flowers and rear of the estate. Very large property backing up to the Saginaw River. We stayed in the Carriage House which had three rooms down and two up. Very clean and period neat. The main house has more quaint rooms... More

I'm giving this place 4 stars because I personally liked it, felt that its uniqueness outweighed the negatives, and would stay there again if I were ever back in Saginaw .... but I suspect a lot of people might feel differently. It's a beautiful 19th century house (and separate carriage house, where my room was) -- which at first glance... More

We were looking for a unique Inn with all the charms of the 19th century, etc. From the website it appeared that we found it. There are options for your stay the main house and the coach house. We specifically wanted the main house. When we arrived, they told us the water heater went out in the main house and... More

Beautiful property but needs some TLC and better staff. Had a wedding here and did not have the greatest experience. The event planner is very hard to get a hold of, and also took weeks to answer emails. When my group showed up for rehearsal, no one knew we were supposed to be there, even though the event planner said... More

The Montague Inn is a beautiful place to stay. It is like stepping back in time. It was a relaxing and enjoyable weekend away. It is near the Temple Theater and the Saginaw Event Center. We enjoyed a leisurely walk in the Veteran's Memorial Plaza right across the street. It's brick walkway path with engraved information and area veterans was... More

The Montague Inn has history and is surrounded by natural beauty that works with this early 19th estate. The property including the house are still in good shape, but new ownership or management is needed desperately. The Inn is understaffed and it shows. The property is way overdue for a lot of basic and overall maintenance. If it goes on... More

Our family stayed 2 nights for a rehearsal and wedding. Our rooms were not clean in the least and the carpets looked worn and dirty. It was stifling hot in our rooms so we were thankful we had fans. Breakfasts were not much to speak of and the staff was not very friendly or accommodating. For a well known B... More

Person working desk barely spoke English. Forgot to book our dinner reservations. Luckily the restaurant was accommodating. My wife and I went there many times for a romantic getaway. They don't make dinner anymore. We will not be going back.

The Montague Inn Saginaw MI I have been very impressed with this old mansion! I so appreciate the fact that they have kept it true to the time period of the original build which was 1927. The furnishings are beautiful and the staff makes you feel like family. Thank you from this old southern girl who prides herself on hospitality!

Forgot how small a double bed was! The place looked empty for a Saturday night except for a small private gathering. Asked if there was a bigger bed available and told there would be an up charge. Understandable, but a lot of places would do that complimentary. Happened to be there during the Stanley Cup playoffs. The TV was poor... More
