My wife and I visited the Rose and Crown on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December at about 6pm, we had to wait until after 6-30pm for food. However we tucked into a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio rose and ordered for my wife the Sausage and Mash and for myself the Liver and Bacon, both of which were very...

We arrived with our two dogs to a warm welcome. The pub has a lovely atmosphere. If you like sport then there is a TV in the bar which was welcomed by my husband! There are lovely walks from the pub (which is a plus when you have two dogs waiting for their walk) leading up to the Ridgeway long...

At first glance, the Rise and Crown looks like any country pub. But inside it is brilliantly renovated in perfect harmony with the seeing. Old and new. Comfortable and charming. The rooms are super comfortable and the visa and decor to sure for. No hesitation in recommending this lovely place

Stayed here on a short break and generally a good experience. Got a really cheap deal and you get what you pay for I guess, if you are expecting luxury then think again but for the price it's fine. Room small with odd decor, but staff very friendly and food pretty good - grilled mackerel was awesome, but the crab...

We stayed in the Rose and Crown for five nights as we were attending the RIAT air show. I found the location perfect. There were a few very small things that I brought to the attention of the staff, but they were noted and by the time we left they most of them were sorted that could be. To me...

I stayed at this B&B on a work trip. It is a lovely venue, good location. Plenty of nice walks around. The staff were dog friendly which made our stay very pleasant. I did not give it a 5 star as the breakfast was not tremendously exciting but either than that I would recommend this place.

I stayed here with my partner for a couple of nights. We were welcomed by a lovely lady at the bar who took our details and checked us in,gave us our key and explained breakfast. Our room was of a good size with an en-suite bathroom, kettle and tea coffee and biscuits, flat screen tv and free wifi. The room...

We ate and slept in this B&B...and It was an "experience". Firstly, the good news: they are kind, they have free wifi and wonderfully, accept dogs. For this reason, I give them 2 stars. Now the bad news: the room was dirty! Dust over the furniture, spider webs at the windows, limescale in the toilet. I suffer from dust mite...

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in this 'B&B' the evening before a job interview he had in the area. We were welcomed by a lady who was pleasant enough who took us to our 'suite'. At a first glace this room was lovely... spacious, quiet and with en suite toilet. Once we began to settle and actually look around we...
