What a lovely hotel close to downtown Rochester. Upper scale. Would stay there again. Food at the bar and restaurant is outstanding. Family friendly. Conference rooms are well laid out and easy to access. The setting of the hotel feels park like.
All the time the Hotel is so perfect, clean and very sophisticated. All the people there is so nice, the food is perfect all the time. This trip was with my wife and she really love every place, all the details around the Hotel and all the amenities that we have.
very nice hotel. great food, close to dining and shopping within walking distance. Fantastic staff and the beds/pillows are very comfortable. I stay in hotels about 15-20 nights per year and this is one of the best.
Royal Park Hotel is a favorite when in the area. Exceptional service and nice clean rooms. The hotel is within walking distance of several downtown restaurants. For those who wish to walk there is a nice path along the river to walk.
I just needed a one night stay. My room was beautifully appointed, clean, and very comfortable. I had beautiful views from all the windows. I will definitely stay here again! My morning checkout was seamless and quick.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Gorgeous inside and out, amazing staff, perfectly clean, beautiful bathrooms with the yummiest Molton Brown toiletries, not a detail is overlooked. Highly recommend. Expensive but absolutely worth it.
Very comfortable room outfitted with the right touches and amenities—always look forward to staying here! Feels somewhat private/secluded, but an easy walk to the hustle and bustle of downtown Rochester. As soon as you arrive, the staff and lobby setting make you feel welcome—right down to the fragrant ambiance that suggests tranquility. Restaurant/bar are excellent, but were unfortunately closed the last night I stayed.
Great hotel. I’m a retired airline captain and I have stayed at hotels all over the world. The property is very nice. The staff was the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. It’s very close to the downtown area of Rochester. It’s about a three block walk Lots of great shops and restaurants to choose from.
Stunning hotel, excellent service. My bed was the absolute coziest too. This hotel is walking distance to downtown and all the restaurants and shops. They have a lot of seating inside and outside. The scenery around the hotel is gorgeous with a river walk nearby.
I've been traveling to the Sterling Heights area for the past 8 years for work. During that time, I've never really found a hotel that I like. While most of the options are okay, they always feel a bit dated and rundown. And, there is rarely any appetizing restaurants nearby. In late-June, I needed to host a large work event in the area. While I had never been to the Royal Park Hotel, I'd heard some good things, and decided to give it a try. I could not have been more pleased. The property is BEAUTIFUL. I loved the mix of classic style and modern amenities. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous, and I loved the shower. I also appreciated the location of the hotel. It's an easy walk to everything downtown Rochester has to offer. I loved this, and so did all of the meeting participants. I'd also like to commend the staff. Those at the front desk were consistently helpful and friendly. The same was true of the event staff. I know we ran them a bit ragged the first morning, but they never faltered. The were friendly, took care of every request, and checked in on us each day. In addition, the catered food was excellent and always perfectly timed. My only two complaints are minor. First, as others have observed, there should be in-room coffee/tea service. There was a nice spot for it in my room, but it was missing. I'm assuming this is a COVID thing, but would encourage management to bring it back. Second, it would be nice if the restaurant was open every night. While downtown is extremely convenient, it would be nice to have an on-property option. Diddo for a bar option. We will be returning next year. Thank you for a great stay.…
