The price was better than any I could find when booking online with short notice.
The hotel itself looked much nicer in the pictures but all in all was not horrible. The room had plenty of space and lots of sleeping area. Was cool that there was a pullout couch that a bed folds out of even though we did not use it. We don't have any real complaints, the process was easy and the stafd were great. I would not pay more than $85-$98 (total stay) a night for any of these rooms unless I had no where else to choose from.

Staff were great, location was great, the room was very clean. Only problem was a guy who was always outside our room door smoking and trying to engage in conversation with us. No big deal the first time but every time we went out of our room, he was there. I think alot of people "live" at this motel. Other than that, it was great

We do accommodate contractors who are in the area on projects. However having them bother other guests or smoking near the building is unacceptable, and I believe I have spoken to the guest in question. "I recently stayed at the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Port Huron, Michigan and it was an exceptional experience. We were with the hockey team. The staff were outstanding, offering warm, personalized service that made our stay truly memorable. The recently renovated rooms, complimentary meeting room for team dinners making it a delightful retreat. I went to check in with my dogs and the room smelled so strongly of smoke that I was worried for my dogs after feeling my voice get hoarse. They were supposed to stay in the hotel for a few hours the next few days and after staying in the room for 15 minutes I realized I couldn’t stay there. Upon check front desk clerk was a delight and was very helpful with recommendations, which is why 4 stars there, it was just unlivable. I stayed for a total of 15 minutes and packed my dogs and drove over an hour back home. Despite having cameras everywhere to corroborate my story I’m told I cannot have a refund even though I was given a room where I couldn’t breathe (that was referenced in a previous review just a month ago). I already had really low expectations because this is a motel-and I was in a bind where I needed to book last minute but was hoping that because it was listed as renovated. The website states this is 100% smoke free hotel and I didn’t smell smoke anywhere but this room. Everything else was fine, would have been good enough especially for being dog friendly, but I can’t really comment on anything else because I turned around and left after checkin. Maybe it is just that one room, but this was not nearly cheap enough to have such a major health issue.

Our group of six friends has an annual crafting retreat. Our location of 15+ years was canceled at the last minute, leaving us stranded. The Days Inn in Port Huron came to the rescue. When booking, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and made sure we had guest rooms and a meeting room for crafting.
The hotel appears to be in the late stages of renovation and the current renovations are very nice. There were some things still missing like towel bars/hooks, toilet paper holders, etc, but that did not impact our stay. The finishes that were complete were nice quality. The beds were new and VERY comfortable. Bedding and pillows were fresh and also very comfortable. I would have preferred a few more towels in the room, but it was clear if I asked for more towels, they would be provided. Everything was very clean.
Our meeting room was large and also newly renovated. We had our own bathroom and small kitchenette in the meeting room. This was perfect for crafters, sewers, baby showers, various meetings, etc. There were two brand new TVs for use in the room as well.
The hotel has plenty of parking and location is right off the main drag. Walking distance to the gas station, rite-aid, hardware store and a great Mexican restaurant.
If I had one wish, it would have been a stronger WiFi connection. WiFi is free, but the signal tended to drop a lot and was a slower speed.
In summary, don't let the exterior speak for the interior. Great location, great staff, comfortable rooms. I would stay again.

Kathy, Shanika, and Rashid were very professional & friendly front desk representatives. They We're very welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay. Kathy graciously accommodated my mobility issues by placing my family & me bring me into roomy adjoining rooms on the first floor. Throughout my stay, Kathy was very patient and assisted me expeditiously whenever I called her with a question. The pillows were soft and the beds were very comfortable and clean. There is a plaza next door with a few quick dining options. Overall nice & comfortable stay on a budget!

We had a rough day with many schedule changes and roadblocks to our activities. We contacted teh hotel to see if we might check in a little early to regroup. Rishad was very helpful getting us into our room and also took time to get us information for a biking trailhead in the area.
The room we had was next to the laundry so we were concerned this might be noisy in the night but that wasn't the case at all. We appreciated several things about the room. It was clean, offered great outlet locations, had a refrigerator and microwave and there was a convenient bench near the front door. We slept well on the bed too. In the morning, we took advantage of the free breakfast. They offered waffles with hot syrup, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, breads, muffins and a breakfast bar. It was tasty. I would have appreciated either a yogurt or eggs to add to the highly starch options.
Check out was also easy. We hope we get an opportunity to stay here again.

Breakfast has no hot food, no yogurt, there are 2 apples and 4 tiny muffins, Raisin Bran and bread. There was one tiny bar of soap and an individual shampoo for the two of us. That didn’t matter because after 5 minutes the water never got more than lukewarm. The room has been redecorated poorly. It’s dingy. We paid for a suite with an efficiency kitchen but there are no cookware, utensils or dishes despite the cooktop. The desk staff suggest they expect people to travel with cookware or buy it.

On date November 27th I was put in a room with no hot hater and plumbing the made the room smell, I didn't notify front desk until I checked out on the 28th in which i found out the room was supposed to be out of order. Later that day I came back to book for the 28th and 29th to check out on the 30th of November. The first room I was placed in had barely no water running in shower and when it did the water came out brown with sediments in it. I notified the front desk and was moved to a different room. I left in the morning of the 29th to return later in the day to find my room cleaned and my belongings missing. I notified front desk in which they contacted house keeping. From several items that went missing the only thing that was returned was my phone charger. House cleaning said the front desk said I was checked out in which case I wasn't. I was told my belongs were thrown away. And only thing they had was my phone charger which they returned. I stay here often and would like to continue to use this facility but with recent actions I ask for a reimbursement or something in return for the problems I've had in the last three days.
