In town (Petoskey) for a weight pull dog competition for the weekend and found this beautiful place to stay at. We love log cabins and this house did not disappoint. The place was very clean. The grounds and area were fun to explore. Our dogs enjoyed a very dog friendly place - which is a big plus for us as we always travel with our dogs. Breakfast’s were scrumptious and we enjoyed the nice conversation. Being a horse and nature lover, I found Grace Grange to have a great calming effect. Loved watching the horses, turkeys and birds. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you to our wonderful hostess Pamela!

We returned to what has become one of our favorite places now. Pamela is the nicest host, the breakfast is fabulous and the whole place is so peaceful. I'm not sure I understand why anyone would post a negative review. Perhaps people forget that even if they are occupying every bed, a bed and breakfast is not like renting a cabin where you can do whatever you want until the wee hours. There is a host and possibly a host family living there also and it is common courtesy to think of the fact that they have to get up very early to make breakfast, set things up etc. We love seeing the horses and going for long walks in the nearby forests.

Our group of six dear friends (all women in our 60s) were scolded by the owner for not observing the 10 pm quiet time rule. We were still playing cards and laughing after midnight. We were the only guests -- filling up every bed in the place -- and were reprimanded like school children. Amazing. Won't be going back.

Considering that two of the six had followed the rules on a previous visit, all six received the 40% discount due to those two, paying only $47 per night for all amenities , their reservation will be replaced. It is always amazing how people will take time to post a negative.

My wife & stayed the weekend with our two German Shorthair Pointers! Beautiful setting in the valley with a spectacular view! Log cabin with old world charm. Horse pasture to run the dogs & they loved it! We had a fabulous time, Pamela baby sat our dogs while we traveled the Tunnel of trees! How great is that, not only allows pets but baby sits as well!!!!!!!!! Did I mention the breakfast, incredible!!! Best pancakes I have ever ate! Thanks Pam

Wow! This place was so restful. Away from the city but still close to many activities. The hostess was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were delicious, especially her homemade granola. We loved the wildlife and meeting the farm animals.
