This is the first time we stayed at this facility or with Magnuson hotels and we were very pleasantly surprised with this facility and with Magnuson in general. We will definitely stay at this property again and will stay at Magnuson Hotels also.

What a great property, location on the bay, and staff. Room was big and clean with a great view of Whitefish Bay. All this in a remote area of the U.P. Close to the Tahquamenon Falls parks. The falls are a must see. The maritime museum and lighthouse at White Fish Point are nearby and very interesting sitting on Lake... More

The hotel had an AMAZING view from our room overlooking the bay. Bathroom was a good size. Beds were fairly comfortable. Not quite like home, but not bad. Everything was clean. Staff was very friendly. Hot tub, pool, and sauna were all very nice and relaxing. Our only complaint was there was no mini fridge, but that certainly wouldn't stop... More

Get the lakeside view with a private balcony and bring your excellent included breakfast back to your room. I recommend second floor or above but first floor also is waterfront. If you don't ask for the lakeside view which is extra then be satisfied with a parking lot view. It was the water and breakfast that made this little family... More

We stayed two nights as our base to your local attractions including Tqua Falls and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and Whitefish Point Lighthouse. Our room afforded a great view of Lake Superior. Facing due East, the sunrise greeted us each morning. One scuddy afternoon showed how the big lake can take on a dark character. The lobby is warm... More

Stayed at hotel many years ago. Very happy too find out that hotel was still very clean, and had great service. Beds comfortable. Love sitting on the balcony and watching the freighters and birds. They have screens on the sliding doors so you can listen to the waves.

The bedroom and bathrooms were a good size and clean. There were limited TV channels, the remote barely worked and the picture resolution was bad. My husband went to the front desk to ask for help and they didn't know what to do about the remote or picture resolution. We were only there for an evening after being at Pictured... More

We paid a little more for a patio room on Lake Superior, it was nice to watch a freighter go by and the evening was calm and beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn't sleep a wink the beds are very uncomfortable, it would have been nice to have the sitting room where the beds was in the room so you could view... More

First, if it's available spend a few extra bucks for a room with a view! It is awesome and well worth cost. The hotel was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Shirley had our paperwork ready and was polite and professional for our check-in. Breakfast was typical for a hotel hot breakfast nothing outstanding and nothing of concern either. Cost was... More

Don't blink as you go through Paradise as you will miss it. What a pleasant surprise to stay at this wonderful hotel! The room was large, overlooking Lake Superior, the bed was comfortable and the bath was clean, all in all a very pleasant accommodation. One small suggestion, please add a Grab Rail" in the shower for us old folks.... More
