The location is the real perk of this hotel as it is across from 12 Oaks Mall and near the major freeways. Lots of things are in the area for shopping and dining. That's kind of where the benefits end. The pool is located "in" the rear of the lobby so there is a strong chlorine smell that hits you when you arrive. The staff was pleasant enough and the elevator sounds very noisy. Breakfast is not included unless you're a Bonvoy Elite member (which I am but didn't find out about this until after) but is otherwise not worth the 15$ USD they wanted to charge. The room was very dark and it was hard to get additional light unless you opened the drapes. There are SO many hotels in the area that you could really skip this one and find one that is a bit more welcoming with a free breakfast.…
The night staff was absolutely amazing. Coming in with a team of young men for a regatta. Not realizing there was not much of a lobby for guests to bring in food to sit and feed 20 hungry boys. Amli and his team where super helpful and it was very much appreciate. Kindness and professionalism was all night from check in to the bar attendant. Our room was clean and no issues. Same as the hallways- we are grateful.
I Checked Into this hotel on April 27TH and while in my room I noticed the sheets had blood on them. Due to Covid I did not feel comfortable staying in this hotel if the sheets where dirty I wonder what else wasn't clean. I went to the front and notified a employee of the situation. She took my keys and then told me that the manger/Owner would be notified and would contact me the next business day about refunding my money. After I called and left 4 different messages the Owner called me Tarek was his name and stated he would not issue me a refund or any compensation.
This hotel is not as renovated as they make it seem. The rooms are dirty - hallways smell like weed and our room smelled like vinegar. The hotel manager would only reimburse 1 night of our 2 nights stay because we don't "agree on what each considers to be clean". Common surfaces are NOT cleaned. Would NOT recommend - there are better spots in this area.
Not sure where to start on this review. Checked in, and everything was fine at the reception desk. The room was okay in the sense that I don't believe anyone in our party contracted any communicable disease. The towels... stained. The room odor....funky. The people hanging out in the parking lot......sketchy. Definitely cannot reccomend staying here.
I had a charge on my credit card for a stay at this hotel. I never made a reservation, never received a so called confirmation of my reservation or even an email saying that I was a no-show. I called the hotel to ask about this charge and the manager on 11/9 at 11:30am was just the absolute rudest individual I have ever encountered. He could not provide me with information only saying that my transaction was done online. I will take this up with the credit card company as I can get nowhere with this hotel. Run by scammers!
Dirty outdated rooms. Poor hospitality housekeeping steals valuables and cash out of purse. Ran by children. The manager is disrespectful to women he is unprofessional. Bugs and Spider webs yellow stains on pillows room smells like wet dogs. Cross contamination at breakfast buffet dirty gloves worn to wipe tables down then touching of food and utensils. Housekeeping enters rooms when unattended. Rambling through personal belongings. Housekeeping do not clean rooms. Carpet dirty and full of brown bugs that blend with carpet.
Broken fixtures, dirty room (hair on toilet seat, glitter on bed tables). There was no ironing board in the room. Worst thing was the lack of soap and shampoo, which one finds out after entering the shower… bad way to start the morning. Front desk was nice and provided complimentary breakfast, which I definitely do not recommend paying for. Staff is courteous.
The facility is not well maintained. Apparent it was a remodel. Many items within the rooms were in need of repair. The pool was out of control! Told on the phone there was a 14 person limit for pool use. At check in, was told pool use is at our discretion. There were easily 10 people in the hot tub at a time, and 20+ in the pool. It was so loud, you had to yell at the person next to you as if in a crammed bar. The pool is smaller than it appears in the pictures. And anyone off the street could use the pool. It’s located in the main lobby, and requires no room key card access. I counted 12 young children in the pool/hot tub with NO parental supervision. Giant unicorn floaties, soakers, rafts, footballs being tossed around...uncontrolled chaos. Two birthday parties in the lobby/meeting rooms also seemed to use the pool area. This was a surprise, given COVID. Party trash was also not picked up, even the following day. We would not stay here again. …
See my photos which speak for themselves... but it is the most dirty and run down hotel I’ve ever stayed at in the states. Dirty tissues and a bottle cap found on the floor of our room. We sanitized the room ourselves upon entry. Mystery handprint on the bathroom door. Large stains on lounge chair. Poorly fixed drywall. Pint peeling off doors. Badly assembled “wardrobe” takes the place of a closet. Very thin walls and lots of sound from kids playing in the nearby pool since the pool does not have walls surrounding. (We did not get to try the pool/hot tub as it was absolutely crowded with young families and teenagers - didn’t feel good about the lack of social distancing) The low quality hearing system in the room was LOUD and blew cold before it got warm. Could not get a consistent room temp all night. Cleaning staff were friendly. Front desk staff appear unprofessional. Back parking lot was not well lit and felt unsafe. But the worst of it all was the mystery smell in the hallway.... There was a stretch of hallway (about 6 rooms long) that smelled STRONG of raw sewage. This is even though i was wearing a mask. Luckily the smell stopped a few doors away from our room, but it made me wonder if something hadn’t backed up in one of those rooms and they couldn’t afford to fix it so they just closed the doors... it was BAD. Choose another hotel, this one needs to be torn down.…
