This hotel has a great location, friendly staff and is connected to an upscale steakhouse.

There is a Carrabba's and a Japanese Steakhouse within walking distance. It's adjacent to Novi's Fountain Walk which has entertainment options.

The hotel is extremely dated and unless you can book 30% less than other hotels within a 5 mile radius, it's just not worth it.

The room's furniture is cheap, dark particle board, one desk chair, one side lounge chair with little table. The shower requires you to enter to turn on without a way to do it without getting hit by cold blast of water at first. The wifi does not reach the 3rd with enough strength to support anything other than email, resulted in using my phone for conference calls.
On the positive, the room was clean, equipped with all the basics, plus had a larger fridge with freezer and microwave.

The hotel is 3 floors with an open center with all floor levels over looking the lobby, bar, small dining area and pool. This creates a substantial noise issue when the hotel is close to capacity.

Platinum Guests have access to a lounge that is just a super weird space unusable for business discussions with colleagues. The noise level from the bar, pool and dining area below makes it unusable for business meetings or solo work.

Even with the great location, amazing staff, does not overcome the hotels dreary and sketchy aspects if you are a business traveler.

If traveling as a family, want an indoor pool, big fridge and close to shopping while saving money over other nearby hotels this could work for you.

The location is the real perk of this hotel as it is across from 12 Oaks Mall and near the major freeways. Lots of things are in the area for shopping and dining. That's kind of where the benefits end. The pool is located "in" the rear of the lobby so there is a strong chlorine smell that hits you when you arrive. The staff was pleasant enough and the elevator sounds very noisy. Breakfast is not included unless you're a Bonvoy Elite member (which I am but didn't find out about this until after) but is otherwise not worth the 15$ USD they wanted to charge. The room was very dark and it was hard to get additional light unless you opened the drapes. There are SO many hotels in the area that you could really skip this one and find one that is a bit more welcoming with a free breakfast.

Very affordable, but remote/isolated without much to do around. Friendly front desk. Felt safe. Rooms seemed very aged and dark. Did not feel particularly clean and there were glass rings on most surfaces. Housekeeping knocked on door early, despite do not disturb sign. Rattling AC and low water pressure. Probably better choices around.

This hotel is not as renovated as they make it seem. The rooms are dirty - hallways smell like weed and our room smelled like vinegar. The hotel manager would only reimburse 1 night of our 2 nights stay because we don't "agree on what each considers to be clean". Common surfaces are NOT cleaned. Would NOT recommend - there are better spots in this area.

I Checked Into this hotel on April 27TH and while in my room I noticed

the sheets had blood on them. Due to Covid I did not feel comfortable staying in this hotel if the sheets where dirty I wonder what else wasn't clean. I went to the front and notified a employee of the situation. She took my keys and then told me that the manger/Owner would be notified and would contact me the next business day about refunding my money. After I called and left 4 different messages the Owner called me Tarek was his name and stated he would not issue me a refund or any compensation.

Stayed at hotel for hockey. The hotel staff was really amazing however, my room smelled of mildew the entire weekend. I tried to switch rooms, but they told me because I was there for a hockey tournament that I was unable to do so. Every time I walked into my room, it smelled terrible. It was gross. My sons clothes were mildew by the end would not stay in the 130s or ever choose to stay at this hotel again despite the very polite staff.

Noisy! The bar by the Pool area has no noise reduction. When guests are there until early morning hours hooting and hollering, it can be heard by all three floors and rooms located around the area. Otherwise, the event was well, staff was excellent.

The facility is not well maintained. Apparent it was a remodel. Many items within the rooms were in need of repair.

The pool was out of control! Told on the phone there was a 14 person limit for pool use. At check in, was told pool use is at our discretion. There were easily 10 people in the hot tub at a time, and 20+ in the pool. It was so loud, you had to yell at the person next to you as if in a crammed bar.

The pool is smaller than it appears in the pictures. And anyone off the street could use the pool. It’s located in the main lobby, and requires no room key card access.

I counted 12 young children in the pool/hot tub with NO parental supervision. Giant unicorn floaties, soakers, rafts, footballs being tossed around...uncontrolled chaos.

Two birthday parties in the lobby/meeting rooms also seemed to use the pool area. This was a surprise, given COVID. Party trash was also not picked up, even the following day.

We would not stay here again.

I normally I do not stay at Four Point hotels but the experience I had at this location has changed my view of the brand! From the moment I walked in and Yolanda got me checked in I knew that this hotel was different. She was so pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. The entire staff was a delight. The room was clean and the kids loved the pool. The pool was a little cloudy but the staff assured me it was because it had just been shocked.

See my photos which speak for themselves... but it is the most dirty and run down hotel I’ve ever stayed at in the states. Dirty tissues and a bottle cap found on the floor of our room. We sanitized the room ourselves upon entry. Mystery handprint on the bathroom door. Large stains on lounge chair. Poorly fixed drywall. Pint peeling off doors. Badly assembled “wardrobe” takes the place of a closet. Very thin walls and lots of sound from kids playing in the nearby pool since the pool does not have walls surrounding. (We did not get to try the pool/hot tub as it was absolutely crowded with young families and teenagers - didn’t feel good about the lack of social distancing) The low quality hearing system in the room was LOUD and blew cold before it got warm. Could not get a consistent room temp all night. Cleaning staff were friendly. Front desk staff appear unprofessional. Back parking lot was not well lit and felt unsafe. But the worst of it all was the mystery smell in the hallway.... There was a stretch of hallway (about 6 rooms long) that smelled STRONG of raw sewage. This is even though i was wearing a mask. Luckily the smell stopped a few doors away from our room, but it made me wonder if something hadn’t backed up in one of those rooms and they couldn’t afford to fix it so they just closed the doors... it was BAD. Choose another hotel, this one needs to be torn down.
