Had an issue with the restaurant at the Hotel ( Toasted Oak )... only thing GM seemed to care about was the timing of my responses.. as a Marriott Platinum Member, I will never return to this hotel while this GM is there...

Overall pretty well run hotel, with some limitations. My room was spacious and clean, however a bit noisy, because the A/C for the convention Center was directly in front of the windrow. Housekeeping wasn't finished one day when I came back earlier around 3pm, and didn't come back as I asked them. But the other staff made up for this...

I really enjoy staying here. Service and Staff are excellent along with the restaurant. Staff knows you by name and will do there best to make right if things are amiss. Each week they make my room right by ensuring my request are done before I get there.

Sadly enough the hotel is well kept and with contemporary decor but it's also clearly a destination for big parties IN THE ACTUAL ROOMS. Noise is allowed until early in the morning making sleep impossible for those who indeed would like to sleep at 2:00 am and not be 'entertained' by the drunken yelling in the nearby room. Called reception...

I stayed at this hotel for a meeting. It's clean and friendly enough, rooms are nothing special. It's about a 30 minute drive from Detroit airport if there isn't much traffic, but guessing it could be much longer if the freeway is jammed. The meeting room was an anonymous box, catering average.

We arrived early this morning for tomorrow's graduation. A very nice hotel on the outskirts of the huge Twelve Oaks Mall. The rooms are nice and large and clean. Downstairs in the lobby there's a restaurant, we haven't tried it as yet but maybe later. We had lunch at the Tilted Kilt Bar and it was very good, numerous restaurants...

Although not an "impressive building", this business-like hotel in a prime shopping/dining area delivers impeccable customer service with an outstanding product. Blessed with an outstanding on-site restaurant (Toasted Oak Grill & Market...reviewed separately), contemporary lobby with large fireplace and live piano performances, the property makes up for it's "business like" demeanor by providing an exceptional "experience".

This poor excuse for a high-end hotel leaves much to be desired in the facilities, the administration, and the staff. They are challenged in the art of maintaining a reservation and the staff seems to be completely untrained and uninformed. If you can get through the administrative morass and get to your room it is nothing better than a typical...
