We were pleased to discover this hotel as our usual stop off in Nuits St George was fully booked. The hotel is to be recommended with nice rooms and an excellent restaurant. We stayed here during a Burgundy bike trip, and enjoyed our stay. The pool was a blessing after our long bike days! The hotel is not air-conditioned (like many country hotels in France) but we had a fan, and managed ok. Food was good, not great, but overall, if you are in Vougeot, it's a very acceptable hostelry.

Our second night en route to the Costa Brava. Easy to find. Family run hotel - everyone very friendly. Enjoyed a dip in the pool before dinner. 2 double beds in our family room. Delicious meal accompanied by good local wine and cheese. Good buffet breakfast. Recommended.

We came for a coffee in the morning which was pretty mediocre and expensive. We came back for an aperitif before our dinner reservation at 5.30pm. We were told they were shut until 6pm. Came back just after 6.30 only to be told over raised eyebrows and huffing and puffing they were now having staff dinner. Why didn't he tell...

Stayed for two nights on way to south. The location is lovely and only about 5 miles from autoroute. The owners and staff were very friendly and the rooms very well appointed. The hotel has been converted from a 12th century farm house and as with a lot of conversions, personally it seems to have lost some of the oldy worldy feel of by gone days. This hotel & restaurant probably benefits from being in the Bourgogne area. Even though we hadn't booked we were early enough to be given a table...

On a trip to visit friends nearby, stayed in this simple hotel. The room was ok although tastelessly cheap décor and bad smelling separate toilet. Worst was the restaurant, not worth that name. The 2 guys in the kitchen have done nothing else than placing food on the plates. Starters, one salad and crudités, either dry or nearly overtime and...

This was the base for eight of us touring Burgundy by bike. The rooms were modern. There was a great swimming pool. The manager could not have been more helpful or accommodating. They had a much more than adequate wine celllar. The little town around it was quite charming

The hotel is easy to locate, being right off the D974, the main road through the Côte d'Or. It is short walk to the Chateau Clos de Vougeot. This is a small family owned hotel and restaurant in an attractive location. The 31 Euro menu was very good value and the food ample, hot and enjoyable. The staff were pleasant and efficient and we had a very good meal and evening, we just wish we had thought to stay here as well!
