Have stayed here with my family in the past. Didn't disappoint this time. All of the rooms are themed and have great character. Near the motorway so good for an overnight stop on the way to Provence. Good restaurant and excellent breakfast. Handy for a quick visit to Chablis.

Perfect location for an overnight stop a few minutes from the A6 and a lovely location if you want to explore the region. The food is excellent and the hospitality charming. We were travelling with 2 dogs who were very welcomed. The rooms are very traditional and cosy.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beursadiere. The location allowed us to continue our tour of Burgundy and was convenient to Noyers, Chateau Tanlay, Tonnerre, Chablis, Auxerre, Chateau D'Ancy and Vezelay. It is also right off the A6 highway. At first, we couldn't find the door to the hotel- the parking in the rear leads to the restaurant. The blue... More

Travelling down to the Haute Savoie for a week in the mountains for us must always include a stopover on the way down from Coquelle. Booking La Beursaudiere via Email with the owner M. Lenoble was a delightfully easy experience. On arrival at the Beursaudiere the experience really unfolded...........having been show around the breakfast and lounge cellars. In fact this... More

Near Auxerre in northern Burgundy Les Beursaudiere is an old building with old but comfortable furnishings, modern bathroom and great atmosphere. Hosts were very nice once we figured out how to get in. Secure parking included across the street, decent wifi also. Convenient location near the E15 with good access to lots of Burgundy sites. The restaurant is very good... More

This is an amazingly atmospheric old hotel. The welcome and service were both excellent. We spent the afternoon drinking wine in a 13th century wine cellar which was amazing.Breakfast was a good selection of buffet, typically French. The bedrooms were really very different, lots of beams and feeding troughs etc.Would highly recommend it for a stopover stay.

We had dinner and spent one night at the Beursaudière, then returned a few days later to have a quick lunch. The hotel sits at the edge of a very small Burgundian village. We were told that it was an old priory built in the 12th century and became a farm, then an inn after the French Revolution. Warm welcome... More

Gorgeous food and a lovely ambience, we had 'nougat' of chèvre, followed but steak frites and duck. Delicious carrot purée and leeks. Place was pretty too even in Feb ( nearly snowing) would definitely return. The manager was very helpful with wine advice recommending vineyards for wine tasting etc.

Went late at night, about 10pm, on a business trip. Decor really old style with slightly spooky dolls hanging from the walls and waiters in black with red foulard. Starter of scallops and prawns was good if not memorable, yet the main, sweetbreads cooked in Marc, were exceptional, best ever, light but filling and cooked to perfection! French know how... More
