An excellent base for exploring this area between the Dordogne and Lot. Very quiet and peaceful (and excellent weather). Spent more time at P&V Monflanquin than we planned because weather was so good and pool so tempting. Good selection of restaurants in town and plenty of places in the area to explore.

Very reasonable place to stay out of season . Very friendly staff . Very clean , nice pool , nice surroundings , quiet . If leaving early in the morning check out the night before as the reception does not open until 9am . Well equipped kitchenette.

A lovely parc in beautiful Dordogne. Good appartments - if not big. Beautiful surroundings. Some entertainment, but not much. But you are here to see the Dordogne. So who needs entertainment? It's an awesome region and this is a great parc to stay and explore Dordogne. * Can't pick the date we went. Summer 2008.

Room not clean on arrival including toilet. Outdoor area dirty and smelly. Room itself ok and friendly service. Only used as travel stop, would not recommend as holiday spot. Pool closed too early for kids liking.

We have been loyal clients of P and V for 16 years, during which time we have stayed here twice previously. We have seen a gradual decline in their services over that period, most notable on this one-week occasion. We paid for the Comfort Package that included beds made on arrival and change of sheets and linen mid-week. Reception was... More

We arrived in a heatwave and had the only one of the few south facing houses but the reception quickly offered us a cooler alternative. Shame there's no air con as it does get very hot inland in the area. Residence is tastefully done in the local style and the reception staff were very helpful. If you have small children... More

Stayed here with our small child but no lighting from the car park to the the apartment causing one of us to have an accident when tripping over uneven walking areas. Pull out double bed was very uncomfortable, not made up on arrival and had to seek help from receptionist for bedding etc. Towels are next to useless, don't dry... More

This is our 3rd P&V village and our best to date. Houses are like little "make believe" houses. House was clean. Had a kettle - which was a breakthrough (but still no toaster). We had a 3 bedroom, which was a double and twin upstairs and room with bunk beds in downstairs. House looked out onto the pool (this wasn't... More

Mixing nice surroundings, the beauty of nature and cultural history, you will sure have a good time at Monflanquin. The village is lovely and in august there are special festivities in which you are drwan back to the Middle Ages. Especially with kids, this is the time to visit and feel like knights and princesses. The P&V village is nicely... More
