The pictures don't do it justice. It's a charming small hotel out in the French countryside. Apparently it's easily accessible from Bergerac but we arrived by bikes. Each room is different and fun in its own way. We loved ours because of the view of the pool and vineyards. The bathroom is nestled right in there with a 5' partition...

I was here with collegues for 3 days. Very nice and charming place. Extremely service minded staff! All meals are of high quality and the surrondings are beautiful. Lot of chateaus for wine tasting in the surroundings.

I think we are the only ones here? Yep we were! I'll start with the only negative - The wifi was "patchy" dropping out frequently - but it did actually work, you just had to be patient. Everything else was fantastic. The room large and comfortable. The bathroom had a good shower. The staff (we only saw one) was lovely,...

Luxury in the Gironde countryside - we had come to visit Montaigne's tower in a nearby village. Warm welcome, lovely room, great grounds, fine view, and a well-chosen breakfast. Just one fault - Wi-Fi only available in the public rooms. The only time this happened in our two-week stay in Aquitaine!

We had the suite with two balconies which are north-facing but still they look out onto the forest. The restaurant where the food is excellent and not too pricey overlooks a great big wooded valley with vineyard in the distance. In the evening, deer stride through the gaps in the undergrowth - all in all a very natural setting. But...

We spent one night at this hotel and found it very comfortable, the staff were very helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The only downside was the Wifi was ifi! and as we are on a business trip collecting emails etc was very important.

Quiet family owned hotel in the heart of countless vineyards. Very kind personnel, you immediately feel like home. Very nice restaurant with affordable prices. Big rooms without air conditioning needs redecoration.

We booked to have lunch here today with our daughter. The setting is beautiful and very relaxing. It was a very hot day but we still wanted to eat outside. The initial service was slow and the offer of an aperitif took ages. The wine list is limited but adequate. We chose the menu de jour which was 19euros. There...

We visited the chateau de Sanse during the first two weeks of August. Both times we went for dinner. There were only two menus. One for 30 euros and one 38 euros. The views on the terrace alone were worth the visit. Menu was fairly fish based. The best thing we had was the entrecôte. The service was excellent. The...

In beautiful surroundings near to St Emilion, this château has lovely rooms, a calm swimming pool and a classy restaurant. In the middle of the vines, you definitely need a car, and you are really in the wine countryside of the South West. Great for à relaxing week-end.

“Room 15 at the top of the tower has the best view. You have to carry luggage up 2 flights of steep stairs. The bedroom and bathroom are one big room separated by a half wall with a very high ceiling. The internet is iffy at best. Quiet and beautiful. I would live here forever.”
