Such a pretty chateau, just as you imagine in any fairy tale of knights, princes and princesses. We and our friends had spacious bedrooms with large bathrooms. Our bedroom was in one of turrets, with the bathroom adjoining in a corridor shape, very different! The furnishings and carpets were a rather dated and worn, but it all added to the... More

Stay in a french Chateau? Yes, please. This stunning castle is a bit hard to find but GPS got us there. Coming up the driveway affords a stunning view of the turrets and the grounds. Thank goodness there was a pool available because it was so hot out. A swim and then a glass of rose in one of the... More

My partner and I have always talked of staying in a chateau in France and on this recent trip we did. What an absolutely stunning location and fabulous place to relax, it was such a shame we couldn't have stayed longer. We had booked an annex room but when we arrived at the chateau Oliver the manager offered us a... More

Chateau de la Cote was the absolute highpoint of our trip. It was an adventure (in a good way) to get there- driving along tiny little roads, past minuscule villages built centuries ago, past green fields, through dense woods that overhung the road...And then the chateau itself was elegant, but comfortable, and beautiful. My daughter and I shared a suite... More

We first stayed here a year ago to break our journey from St Malo to South West France. Based on that good experience decided to do the same this time. Same lovely welcome. Excellent dinner. We so much appreciated the thoughtfulness of the waiting staff and the knowledgable help from the wine waiter. Very nice breakfast. This really is a... More

Went for a business meeting , presentation in a very small room with extremly unconfortable chairs! Lunch was nice and well served with good portion! The hotel looks like it at had better days and could do with more attention. Did not see the rooms except on the web so cannot comment on it. Talked to a couple of guests... More

Our initial experiences were good and the Chateau and gardens were impressive. We were in the gatehouse which was no great problem as we are fairly fit but the walk up to the Chateau ( and back down after dinner) may not have suited everyone. Dinner was excellent although the bar area was very small. Breakfast was dismal, had better in... More

I have mixed feelings about the Chateau the building is very grand and the grounds are beautiful, but the amenities are lacking. The breakfast was average at best: we had to ask for milk which was difficult because the server kept disappearing and the fruit salad was still frozen in parts. The bar is pretty much non existent. We didn't... More

A very warm welcome to this lovely small chateau set in extensive grounds. The parking on a grassed area was a little underwhelming but of no great matter. Our room was on the 2nd floor which was a bit of an effort for me (I have breathing difficulties) but again, not a major inconvenience. This "attic" room rather suited the... More
